20.01.2022 Ocean Friendly peeps and wannabe sustainable cafe venues, we are trying our best to get rid of the single use coffee cup plague on the Northern Beaches and we know you are keen too. Northern Beaches Council have launched a coffee swap system, and you may be eligible to receive a free stock of 'swap and go" coffee cups. If you haven't already, click on the link in the article to get involved.

19.01.2022 Big news from WA..

19.01.2022 24 HOURS TO GO! There are just over 24 hours left to let the Environmental Protection Authority know what you value about Exmouth Gulf and want for its future. ...This is a vital opportunity to have your say in the fight against industrialisation. If you'd like to make a short submission, make sure you do that before 5pm (WA time) tomorrow, Wednesday, 11 Nov via our website: https://www.protectningaloo.org.au/haveyoursay/ If you need further inspiration, this beautiful footage was shot recently in the vicinity of where the Gascoyne Gateway deepwater port would be built, which is one of the major industrial projects the EPA needs to consider in its assessment. 17.01.2022 This week is NAIDOC week. An important time to reflect and acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and around Australia. Always was.... always will be.....

17.01.2022 Surfrider Foundation Australia has been active around our great land for almost 30 years. As we come out of lockdown our branches in every State are cranking up their programs and activities. Get involved and help us protect our coast and waves.

15.01.2022 One year on... a different battle. It is not Equinor but PEP 11threatening our beaches.

11.01.2022 We have some of the best beaches in the world. In recent weeks as summer crowds head to our beaches it is disappointing to see an increase in litter. Surfrider asks everyone heading to the beach to be mindful of the impact of litter on our beaches, waterways and marine environment. Please don't leave litter, plastic, bottles, cans, wrappers on our beaches and if the bins are full, take your rubbish home, don't leave it to blow into the ocean. Respect the beach.... leave only footprints.

11.01.2022 You don't have to surf to be a member of Surfrider. We are a movement of like minded souls who care for the coast and love the ocean. Join up today through our new membership program and lets keep our coasts clean and green for future generations to enjoy..

09.01.2022 Surfrider Foundation Australia would like to send a massive shout out to our members, branches, sponsors and supporters. Thanks for your passion and hard work in 2020 as we battled oil and gas companies, picked up rubbish, campaigned against plastic, planted trees and advocated on behalf of coastal communities around the country for cleaner and greener beaches. Merry Christmas to everyone and may the surf gods be kind.

07.01.2022 Welcome to 2021... we hope that you had a fantastic night last night and look forward to many great days enjoying our beaches and waves.

02.01.2022 The best present you can give your friends and family this Christmas is a coastline with a future. The Surfrider Foundation here in Australia wants future generations to be as lucky as we’ve been, and for them to grow up on an unspoiled, champagne coastline. Surfrider is engaged from local communities and beach cleans all the way up to Canberra and national campaigns against offshore oil and gas development. A Surfrider membership is just $5 a month/$10 a month for families, and is an investment in the Australian coastline. We’d be stoked to have you with us. Merry Christmas. Sean Doherty, Chair of Surfrider Foundation Australia https://www.surfrider.org.au/
