23.01.2022 EARLY VICTORIAN CARVED ROSEWOOD JARDINIERE or PLANT STAND, CIRCA 1840 Exceptionally well carved decoration including flowers, corn, wheat-sheaves, leaves and grapes in solid rosewood now faded to a fantastic warm colour. 22.01.2022 THE BARON BRUNO SCHRODER MAHOGANY LONG-CASE CLOCK by WILLIAM WARREN, ROYSTON, CIRCA 1750 Elegant George III mahogany and inlaid long-case clock by William Warren of Royston. The shaped pediment above an arched door enclosing a 12 inch arched brass dial with 8-day, hour striking movement, subsidiary date, seconds and strike/silent dials. The trunk with a long arched door incorporating boxwood fan inlay and satinwood banding, the base with conforming fan inlay and satinwood ban...ding raised on ogee bracket feet. William Warren is recorded as working C1753, however, the case was probably made for this movement C1790. 21.01.2022 EDWARDIAN OAK OCCASIONAL TABLE, CIRCA 1900 English oak occasional table Circa 1900, with a moulded edged top supported on barley twist legs, joined by simple stretchers and raised on turned feet. Provenance, acquired directly from Royal Holloway University of London, commissioned by Thomas Holloway and opened by Queen Victoria in 1886.
