21.01.2022 These guys were so special. I met them on a cruise quite a few years ago. They were young and just having fun and enjoying life. Later when their daughter was born they asked me to do a Baby Naming ceremony and I got to reconnect with them again. A second daughter came alone a little while later and we again had the chance to catch up. Now, they have allowed me to be a part of their big day as they said their vows and became husband and wife. Sometimes this job is not just about marrying people. Its about sharing all of those big moments over a lifetime. #Weddings #Celebrant #Love #Privileged.

01.01.2022 To all the brides and grooms whose weddings are being affected by Corona. I'm so sorry that this is happening to you. Weddings are stressful under the best of circumstances and this is just horrendous. With family cancelling, overseas loved ones unable to attend, suppliers unsure of the future, it is just one blow after another. If your wedding is coming up, take a deep breath and try to stay calm. Take stock and see where you are at. ... If the guest numbers will be smaller, that's ok. Can loved ones that can't be there watch via live stream? Can people wear masks and have handwashing or sanitiser available? You may want to ask your celebrant to announce that there will be no hugs and kisses at the end, or move to a more open space so that there can be a little more distance between guests. But remember, the goal of your wedding was always to GET MARRIED and regardless of how many people come or how it unfolds, you will be MARRIED at the end. If you are worried at all, have a chat to your celebrant and your suppliers for reassurance and if you really need to postpone then start making plans. Good luck and we're thinking of you xx
