10.01.2022 Hi Gel Ball Community, I have some bad news for you all Gunny passed away, we believe Sunday Night in his Camper, cause of death is still not clear at this point in time.... Gunny was staying here, he was going through some issues and we were working through them. My thoughts and best wishes are with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed. Thank you Gunny for your strong support of Gel Ball and in particular Susan River Gel Ball. As soon as I find out any more information I will post it on our sites. 10.01.2022 Hey All: Senator Malcolm Roberts (One Nation Qld Senator) is making a visit to our centre Monday 21st September from 1.15 to 3.50pm. Reason is to support Operation Hard Yakka and Gel Ball.... I need a number of volunteers to use as a demonstration for Gel Ball to highlight how safe and great our sport is. If anyone is available just let me know. Cheers Bob We have Pauline Hanson on side as well. This was taken at a meeting last week.

07.01.2022 Not sure if you are aware, but the Qld State Government are trying to ruin the sport of Gel Ball in Queensland, we at Susan River Gel Ball have over 2050 followers, most come from the Hervey Bay and Maryborough Electorates. I urge all who support our sport to make contact with your local member and strongly urge them to stop the stupid Fun Police doing this. If they don’t respect your wishes, DON’T VOTE BACK In at the next Elections in October. We have whole families play at... our fields, we raise funds for Wounded Heroes, and Operation Hard Yakka. 06.01.2022 This was sent and received by another Senior Gel Baller, in relation to Gel Ball in Queensland. Seems very strange is the ALP putting off the freedom of information until after the election. Vote ALP LAST if you want a open government. Cheers... Bob Davis Ok guys so I applied for a Rights To Information claim months and months ago in regards to internal communications between goverment departments about Gel Blasters. After QPS and the stakeholders came to a ln all but happy agreement i totally forgot about the fact that I even put the claim in. Now let's fast forward to Tuesday this week. I receive an email from the RTI officer in charge (see attatched) stating that someone (QPS/Mark Ryan) had objected to releasing 54 pages even though the RTI officer said there was no reason that we shouldn't legally be allowed access to these documents. I called Mark ryans office and his executives and left messages and requested someone to call me back and let me know what's going on as if the gel blaster community is aware of everything that is going on why would QPS/Mark Ryan object to any of these documents being released?? Well I have heard nothing back so now im making this information public as this close to an election i find it very strange that this would happen. I just can't for the life of me figure out why they would hide this info when they finally had us on side......

04.01.2022 Queensland Government and Police please see how a wrong decision can effect so many people who are doing the correct thing. Queensland has 10 times more people involved in Gel Ball than South Australia. Many Gel Ball fields raise funds for charities, Susan River Gel Ball, raise funds for Operation Hard Yakka, and Wounded Heroes in Brisbane. They receive nothing from Governments. Hope this doesn’t happen in Queensland.... Contact your State MPs and Candidates for the next election and get a promise from them on paper that they won’t be involved in destroying this great sport.
