10.01.2022 Research has shown that it's almost impossible to focus on two things at the same time. Also, as you know, what you focus on expands. These last days, I've been... focusing on the dangerous levels of air quality here, the nearby wildfires, my dear friends impacted by the pandemic, and family members in the hospital. I haven't been waking up filled with glee, delight and wonder. So today I decided to shift my focus for a bit...and it was amazing! I pulled out some old paints, dug through my pile of things to go to Goodwill to find a frame and started painting. It was awesome. Everything dropped away except for what colors to use and what feeling I wanted to create. I don't know that it's a so-called "good " painting, but it doesn't matter. I shifted my state . . . and now I'm ready to take on whatever life brings me. I changed focus and it changed everything. Let the good times roll!!!
