21.01.2022 I enjoyed my first Geelong Bridal Expo on 23 February 2020. It was a joy to meet so many brides to be and your partners and support people. I hope you left with a lot of inspiration and new ideas. Happy wedding planning!

20.01.2022 When I create your ceremony we work as a team. I ask questions and listen... you tell me what’s important to you. #weddinggeelong #weddingsurfcoast #susanwebleycelebrant #celebrant #bridalexpo #civilcelebrant #weddingtorquay #rainbowweddings #surfcoastwedding

17.01.2022 I wish to acknowledge the traditional owners of the land I now call home, the Wadawurrung people, and pay my respects to their elders past, present and emerging. #NRW #InThisTogether2020

13.01.2022 WEDDING RITUALS Rituals are a powerful and moving way to represent connection, remembrance and love. There are literally hundreds of possible wedding rituals. Some are steeped in cultural tradition and some are contemporary and unique. One of my couples, Sue and Hiroko adapted a Japanese wedding ritual - San San Kudo for their wedding. This ceremony traditionally involves a couple and family representatives sharing sake from shallow, drinking bowls. In a personal variation, Sue and Hiroko chose to use wine from a family vineyard instead, beautifully representing the blending of two cultures in their relationship.

13.01.2022 Tying the knot in the time of COVID 19 Have you thought about marrying without the fuss? Now is a perfect time to do just that! It can still be: - Meaningful... - Romantic - Personal - Fun. With you, your loved one, two witnesses and myself as your celebrant you can make it legal in a simple ceremony. Most of the prep can be done via zoom or skype. And if you choose a witness who knows how to take a good pic, or book a photographer or videographer who can double as one of your witness, you will be able to share your ceremony with family and friends. 08.01.2022 The Surf Coast welcomes Melbourne back!

05.01.2022 Slowly, carefully we are getting back to business in Victoria From Dan Andrews today - From 11:59pm on 31 May, limits on our most significant ceremonies will be lifted, with up to 20 people allowed at weddings plus the celebrant and couple and up to 50 people allowed at a funeral, in addition to those required to conduct the ceremony ... Well done everyone and stay safe!

05.01.2022 My wife said to me two days ago this is the rainy day! It was a shock, but of course she’s right. Hold on tight, be kind to each other and remember the promises you have made, or are about to make, to support each other through the tough times. I love this poem and hope you find it inspiring: What is Love by Walter Rinder Love is just not looking at each other and saying "You're wonderful".... There are times when we are anything but wonderful. Love is looking out in the same direction. It is linking our strength to pull a common load. It is pushing together towards the far horizons, hand in hand. Love is knowing that when our strength falters, we can borrow the strength of someone who cares. Love is a strange awareness that our sorrows will be shared and made lighter by sharing; that joys will be enriched and multiplied by the joy of another. Love is knowing someone else cares that we are not alone in life.
