14.01.2022 We went for a walk in the National Park today. We didn't know it was closed due to fire danger. We were half way to our destination when a ranger spotted us. We were heading to a camp ground that was about half an hour away. From there we would catch a ferry. The camp ground of 300 people had been evacuated earlier on and so there was no ferry. Someone who worked at the camp ground informed the ferry driver that two strays had got themselves in a pickle so the ferry came by and picked us up. That's what happens when you are on holidays and not watching the news.
10.01.2022 Angophoras must be my favorite tree. The branches twist and turn and the colour is the most vibrant orange.
