24.01.2022 Have you tried Mochi Ice cream yet? This soft, squishy and sweet treat is bound to please everyone! Mochi is a popular Japanese treat, which is a sweet, glutinous rice cake which is soft and squishy to the touch but is a little sticky when you eat it! We have Tiramisu, Green Tea, Mango and White Bean mochi to suit anyone’s taste! If you haven’t tried it before, order it when you next visit our shop at Hamilton and prepare to be delighted by one of Japan’s most popular dess...erts. As the pandemic continues, social distancing and hygiene is important - we will ensure to keep your tables clean, practice social distancing and provide you a safe environment to enjoy our train. If you have any symptoms (no matter how mild) to please stay home and get tested before coming into our shop. We also ask that you use the hand sanitiser available, check in at the door when you arrive and please wait to be seated so that we can ensure both you, our customers and our staff can be SAFE. 15.01.2022 Hello everyone! As COVID continues, we want to reassure you we are still open for business! We understand that these are scary times, especially with positive cases visiting Newcastle. We want to assure our customers we are strictly following government guidelines to ensure we can remain open and ensure you can enjoy the best sushi in Newcastle! Our responsibilites to you are to make sure that government regulation, like social distancing, regular cleaning and record keeping ...for contact tracing, is being followed and to ensure that we are remaining at the top of our game at all times to guarantee the safety of both you and our staff. We are frequently cleaning and ensuring that when you sit down, you don't have to worry about contaminated surfaces. We do ask some help from you however. Please ensure you sign in with up to date contact information in case of contact tracing and use the hand sanitiser that is available before being seated. Please wait for our staff to seat you to ensure we are following social distancing and venue limit restrictions, and please ensure you don't move around the restaurant unnecessarily to guarantee the safety of you, other customers and our staff. We also request that you and any other patrons only touch sushi plates that you will eat - we understanding wanting to take the sushi off the train to admire it closely, but in these uncertain times we request to please admire sushi as it goes along the train unless you are going to eat it.
