23.01.2022 Saturday morning, for a couple of hours, the 50 or so kids from the city on a school excursion out west got the opportunity to try their hands at Traditional Aboriginal activities like making string, creating their family story through body-paint-up using ochres, using stone axes to strip bark of didg's and emu callers and painting with ochres. Hard yards at times but created opportunities to yarn and laugh.

18.01.2022 The Bendamere Garden Club is heading over to Ricky and Bernie Ikin's place today to check out their gorgeous garden. I got to paint-up this cute little cherub into a leprechaun with a snake resting her head on his shoulder. Lots of laughter and heaps of input from family and friends made this activity the best.

16.01.2022 It's been a while being arty but this week CatholicCare Toowoomba office had 3 projects in offer. So with my team of helpers we painted the stairwell, a pathway and a wall in a room. Many thanks to Kay, Dolli, Charlie, Seth, Gav, Leona, Marcus and Bruce. I so appreciate your help!

14.01.2022 R U OK Day was held in Roma this arvo and into the night. My team and I offered face painting and temporary tattooing.

12.01.2022 I was over at Dunkeld holding a paint pouring workshop for two groups. In the morning the Dunkeld state school students in years 1 to 5 experimented with different paints, glues and pouring mediums to create gorgeous paintings. In the afternoon the community members rock up and paint poured their hearts out. A wonderful stress free time!

10.01.2022 How lucky were we last night at the Netball Grand Finals. Thanks to Mya for facepainting with me and Jahlika, Reeannah and Natasha for doing the glitter tattooing stencils.

10.01.2022 At Bonus Downs Friday night the Kids and Teachers busted out their instruments.... guitars, ukuleles, and a recorder and harmonica to add to the didg's, clapsticks, and emu callers I bought along. These kids could and did belt out some awesome tunes. We sang, told jokes, danced and laughed up big time.

09.01.2022 Face Painting at the Western Rivers Cup yesterday in Toowoomba. Kids got to catch up. Lovely to see Evelyn and Warren too. Many thanks Malina, Malitta, Robert and Tyla.

08.01.2022 The best time face painting at the Lions Park tonight supporting Child Protection Week here in Roma. Kids and family members painting themselves each other. Many thanks goes to my fabulous team of helpers Marcus, Beau and Ritchie for setting up the tent and putting out the chairs and displaying the painting resources so Facepainter Mya could come in and start painting. Our Supervisors Natasha and Aisalee for their great work to ensure hygiene was maintained. And last but not least Assistants Jahlika and Rheeanna for the clean up and pack up.

06.01.2022 I had a wonderful time in Taroom yesterday working with kids at the Taroom Kindergarten. We primed a big board then get it ready to paint then applied two coats of paint onto it. We found lots of animals in the shapes. Finally we sealed the sides and back of the board to keep the weather out. Oh and while we were waiting for the paint to dry we made bigibila's (echidna's) out of playdough, gravel eyes and stick quills. Kids are awesome!!!!!

04.01.2022 Last Friday I rock up with my Sista Kay and great niece Dolli-Mae to Bonus Downs offering activities for kids from the city on a school holiday excursion.
