22.01.2022 Gesso prepping canvasses for tomorrow's Paint Party at the RM Williams Bush Learning Centre to celebrate the opening of my latest Exhibition " Different Strokes". I would like to thank those who are attending but also to those who have supported my Art Business at workshops or private lessons over the years. Covid-19 definitely put stress on many Arts workers including myself and many people would say "That's not a real Job". WELL yes it is!! Arts workers spend so many hour...s preparing for classes and workshops. All this time is unpaid. Today alone will take me at least 4/5 hours to get organised for a 4 hour workshop tomorrow. Although i have had 3 months off, i am so grateful for the support from you and local council to help keep me running my business. To be an Arts Worker you need lots of self motivation and self Promotion to get the gigs. I Say Congrats to all Arts Workers for bringing workshops to your communities!! See more
