The crew at Nova work tirelessly to help mothers & their children escape domestic violence. The Covid pandemic has caused a HUGE rise in domestic violence. This is due to increased time spent at home, financial stresses, increased substance abuse & m...ore. Three Scary Facts: 1. Every day, 8 women are hospitalised with critical injuries inflicted by their partner. 2. One in four children are exposed to domestic violence. 3. Seven women were killed in seven weeks during lockdown. 13.01.2022 One of our all-time fav neighbours Jody Robinson sadly passed away earlier this year after a long battle with breast cancer. Jody was an arts educator for over 25 years and was super passionate about supporting emerging artists. Her family have started a GoFund Me to support emerging artists in Newcastle, in partnership with @newcastleartspace Head to the link our bio to donate and ensure Jody’s legacy continues to support emerging artists for years to come x
