Fully vaccinated citizens and permanent residents (and their immediate family) can now fly int...o NSW without having to quarantine: You need to be double vaccinated with a recognised COVID-19 vaccine, or be accompanied by someone 18+ who has if you’re under 12 years old If you meet the vaccination and the Australian Government pre-departure testing requirements you can leave the airport as normal Within 24 hours of arriving in NSW, you must have a COVID-19 nose and throat PCR test. Get another test on or after day 7 after arriving in NSW. You don’t have to isolate while waiting for your results, unless you have symptoms. Until you get a negative result from your day 7 test you can’t go to any high-risk settings such as aged care, disability care, healthcare and correctional facilities. Different rules apply to children under 12 who are unvaccinated. If you develop any symptoms of COVID-19 at any time while in NSW, you must immediately get tested for COVID-19 and isolate until you receive a negative result. 09.01.2022 The Avid Adventurers have returned home raving about their Outback Floatplane Adventure tour from Darwin. This half day adventure took them by Floatplane to Sweets Lagoon where they enjoyed an exhilarating, heart-pumping ride on a supercharged airboat. Below is a bit of what they had to say. "Skimming along at just over 100km/h, stopping quickly, cutting corners by going over the grasses, over logs, mud flats and anything else that you would think wasn't possible. We stopp...ed beside Bone Crusher & Jack, the driver, told us about crocodiles, their territories, their fights etc, all while patting & scratching Bone Crusher's head. He even lifted up his top jaw to show that the lower jaw had half missing as a result of a fight." They also opted to take a helicopter flight which, and I quote, "Like the airboat, this was an experience not to be missed". See more
