20.01.2022 Introducing 'Moose', our new (ish!) Australian White Ram from Thornbush Australian Whites. When we picked him up he was 93kg@ 9.5 months and we think he's pretty special. His lambs are hitting the ground now!

14.01.2022 After a winter of slower moves, with the warming weather, the grass is growing and we're back into daily/2nd daily moves! I'm stoked with the way this patch has responded to the planned grazing management (+ an application of compost 18months ago). We're getting heaps more species, the ground is slowly softening and building.

12.01.2022 Kaya ewes soon to lamb, 2018 ewe lambs filling out, plenty of feed and new alpacas and jersey settling in well. 2019's looking promising!

12.01.2022 Winter lambs! Triplets and an single, the first of my Aussie White x Dorpers. Looking forward to seeing how they grow!

10.01.2022 First Lambs of 2019! This lovely maiden Kaya ewe must have joined on the way home from the Kaya Peak Hill Sale! Kaya Dorpers #fertilemaidentwinseasylambing

08.01.2022 Time to let go of some of my lovely ewes! Running low on time and feed - Both registered/Stud and Purebred commercial Dorper ewes for sale - $150-200. Also, time for Kenan (my stud ram) to find a new home! If you're looking for a great starter package - this is your lucky day!

06.01.2022 Some of the great Kaya ewes I picked up at their Peak Hill sale this year!

04.01.2022 Shout out to Shannon from Full Circle Farm for giving me some top tips on setting up regenerative grazing principles! The bright green cell has had only 8 days rest since the stock was moved off! https://www.facebook.com/fullcirclefarmaustralia/

03.01.2022 Introducing the Australian Whites! Part of the fun of farming is finding the right animals for your particular situation. Being high rainfall coastal brings its own unique challenges! So to help us work that out we’re adding a 2nd breed to our flock. This is Custard the Ram and his 10 Aussie White ewes, all Tattykeel blood. This shedding breed was developed from a composite of White Dorpers, Texels, Van Rooy and Poll Dorset breeds. We’ll be running a pure AW flock alongside a pure Dorper flock for a direct comparison of lamb quality and production on our land in the same season and management as well as doing a little cross breeding!

02.01.2022 Thankful we have feed and trying to make the most of it with high density grazing. Daily moves through this section gives a great recovery period, as well as the trampling effect gives some mulch/cover disturbs the soil surface for water penetration
