08.01.2022 I have read this book about 5-6 times but I always revisit it during times of difficulty or new beginnings. My favourite philosopher tells a story of meaning and purpose and how hardship is a vital part of the human experience. A difficult but necessary red pill to swallow. There is more wisdom in your body than your deepest philosophy. A quote expressing the ability of the body to adapt, build, and overcome hardship. You are designed for adaptation so look the hard times in the eye and say you will make me change and I am grateful for you. Without difficulty there can be no joy, love the hardships and you will grow more as a person than ever before. Food for thought embrace challenges and you embrace life



05.01.2022 Technique I set myself the same high standard as I do with my clients. Excellent movement quality and technique is the foundation of any strength training program. I am a firm believer in developing a strong foundation before even thinking about lifting heavy. A lesson that most people learn the hard way (through injury). Chronic pain has become an epidemic both in the realm of highly trained athletes and the general population. This I believe represents a huge issue in ...body awareness and often a complete disregard for the fundamentals of training. If you are struggling with back pain, knee pain, shoulder pain whatever it may be I implore you to listen to your body and ask yourself Am I doing everything I could be to relieve my pain? If the answer is no the only person that can help you is you. I have stripped my Olympic lifts right back down to barbell and basics till my movement quality is near perfect. A difficult but necessary process for my training. Happy Thursday guys keep yourself accountable
