06.01.2022 This has been a looong time coming and one of our proudest projects to date. The previous Forever Friends Animal Rescue was bloated, confusing and generally broken. With rapid growth and exposure, they needed an energetic new home online to get vital info across, but also an easy-to-use resource for the huge number of volunteers behind the group. As with all aspects of FFAR, we had the help of many generous and talented folks. The project was spearheaded and co-directed by th...e tireless Aisling Wood. Our longtime collaborator Zach Beltsos-Russo (@palimpsest.net.au) completely outdid himself with 40+ illustrations throughout the site. Additional dev and various emergencies were saved by Adam Batey. The beautiful photos were supplied by a network of volunteer photographers you can find on the ‘Friends’ page. Forever Friends is always on the lookout for adopters, foster carers, volunteers, sponsors and of course, donations to help continue their lifesaving work.

04.01.2022 In progress self-help kits we’ve been working on with Fitzroy Legal Service. These documents will be a bridge between prisoners and prisoner advocates & lawyers. A lot of varying considerations made for users with; limited access, learning difficulties, different levels of technological skills, first languages other than English. Really important project that continues to evolve.
