21.01.2022 At Sutherland Osteopathy, we are in complete support of the Government’s recommendation to stay at home unless it is essential. The Government is also encouraging Allied Health clinics to stay open when possible in order to help with the health and well-being of their local community. This message is to inform you of the changes we have made to make this clinic a safe place for you to come, when you feel you need to do so. In addition to what we have explained in recent em...ails, we are: - taking the temperature of all patients and their carers on arrival with a no touch thermometer - requesting that all patients and their carers sign a declaration regarding COVID-19 risk factors and exposure. - using single use face cloth and hand towels - thorough sanitation of the treatment rooms commonly touched areas between patients and replacement of all linen. - regular hand washing and ease of access to hand sanitiser at all times - adhering to social distancing in the reception area. - adhering to the 1 person per 4sqm rule in the reception and treatment areas. - practitioners are wearing face masks when they are unable to adhere to the social distancing guidelines. 11.01.2022 In these confusing and unprecedented times, it is very easy to get caught up in the panic and worry. Please try to remain calm, adhere to the guidelines given by our Department of Health and show kindness to others. At Sutherland Osteopathy we value the health of our patients, our community and ourselves. As such we have planned, prepared and implemented numerous procedures to minimise the risk of viral transmission, and to ensure we comply with our guidelines as government registered healthcare providers.
