20.01.2022 CROSS COUNTRY SEASON CONTINUES! Athletics NSW have advised that the NSW XC Championships is now bookmarked for the weekend of 10th-11th October 2020. This will be relocated to Dapto Integral Energy Park and will take place should the current recommendations from the NSW Government relating to regional travel be lifted (further updates expected 1st October by NSW Health). Whilst the Winter Season would normally conclude at the end of August, we are extending the Winter Season ...this year into September. This will mean an additional two events that is open to members wanting to run but also supporting those athletes that are continuing their training towards NSW XC Championships in Dapto! Race times will be as per usual: 1km- 1.50pm 2km- 2pm 3km- 2.15pm 5km and 10km- 2.30pm Both runs will start from the beginning of the trail at Grays Point (Grays Point Road, next to Grays Point Public School). 19th September- Grays Point (Tram Line- towards Loftus Oval) 26th September- Grays Point (Ridge Line- towards Anana Hill) Events follow our COVID Safety Plan and in accordance with NSW Government guidance. Pre-registration details will be added to this post shortly. In other news........the Committee continues to work through plans for the Spring/Summer track and field season. Updates will follow shortly on SDAC events for Summer 2020/21!!

08.01.2022 Our club is looking for current volunteers to gain skills accreditation through Athletics NSW so we can gain Permit Status when we host our club meets. To gain this accreditation, a short course must be taken to become a recognised official. As we are planning on hosting a club event in January, we would like to see some of our volunteers gain this qualification so our events can carry Permit Status. ... 08.01.2022 Results have been released for last night's Eloise Wellings 1000. Congratulations to all athletes who competed. There were many great performances over the afternoon including the main event of the day, the Eloise Wellings 1000. Oliver Hoare took out the men's race in dominant fashion leading from start to finish recording a time of 2:23.84.... Ivy Boothroyd won in an exciting close race finishing with a time of 2:54.76. Thanks to all the athletes who participated, volunteers and sponsors for a great event. 05.01.2022 Presentation/AGM and BBQ this Sunday

05.01.2022 Happy New Year Everyone! Our club will be hosting a track and field event coming up this month. Save the date for SUNDAY 24th JANUARY 2021.... Events on offer include; 100m, 400m, 800m, 1500m and Long Jump which will commence from 4pm. We will also be hosting the NSW 10,000m Walk Championships which will have permit status. The 100m race, the 'Sutherland Gift 100' will also have prize money up for grabs. Entries will open from Monday 4th January. Further information on this event will be posted soon.
