Gordon 137 (Chris Fox 4-25, Ben Connell 4-34). ... 9 January 1986 Sutherland won the AW Green Shield, defeating Gordon at Caringbah Oval. Sutherland 7/216 cc (Jeff Smith 80, Tod Young 53, Darrell Mann 28) d. Gordon 176 (Anthony Hale 6-52, Darrell Mann 3-52). 9 January 1994 Rod Furner & Tim Cadden put on 255 for the 1st wicket in AWG vs M&S Western at Mona Park the then record opening partnership for all grades for the club. The team total of 2/325 is the record score for AWG for the club. 10 January 1993 Justin Kenny scored 115 in 1st Grade L/O vs Hawkesbury at Benson’s Lane No.1 the first century in 1st Grade L/O for the club. 10 January 2016 Tom Doyle scored 180 in Poidevin-Gray Shield vs Northern District at Glenn McGrath Oval the record score in PGs for the club. 12 January 2016 Steve Smith scored 149 in an ODI match vs India at the WACA. He won the Player of the Match award. 13 January 1985 Dominic Watson played Poidevin-Gray Shield vs St.George at Hurstville Oval, having played 3rds vs Manly-Warringah at Tonkin Oval the previous day as Dominic Colley! For the record, he top-scored in PGs with 40. 13 January 1990 Martin Carroll took 8-30 in 5th Grade vs North Sydney at Tunks Park. 14 January 1990 Sutherland won the AW Green Shield, defeating Manly-Warringah at Bankstown Oval. 16.01.2022 Our first day of 2-day matches for the season took part on Saturday with the Sharks taking on @bankstowndcc during which we saw some notable batting performances headlined by 1st Grade captain Chris Williams falling 7 runs shorts of a century on 93 and 2nd Grade batsman Ben Letton with an impressive 89 runs to his name. Best of luck to first and second grade with the ball next Saturday during day two. #SharkAttack

07.01.2022 It was a tough starts for the Sharks as they took on two strong Parramatta set-ups over the weekend. There were some notable performances however across both matches with Dan Fallins the highlight, taking 4 wickets and scoring 74 with the bat in first grade. The Sharks will take on across-the-bridge rivals @bankstowndcc next round in 2-day matches with second grade at home and first grade at Bankstown Oval #SharkAttack

John Derwent took 8-127 in 2nd Grade vs Mosman at Rawson Oval. 30 September 2017 Shane Watson (184) & Jarryd Biviano (122) put on 300 for the 2nd wicket in 1st Grade vs St.George at GMO, breaking the record partnership for the 2nd wicket in all grades for the club which had been 285 by Nic Maddinson & Matthew Hughston in the 1st Grade semi-final vs Eastern Suburbs at GMO in 2009-10. 1 October 1966 John Philip took 3-40 in the second innings vs Sydney in 2nd Grade at Caringbah Oval to finish with match figures of 11-50. 1 October 1988 1st Grade scored 493 vs Parramatta at Caringbah Oval the highest score for the club in 1sts at the time. Steve Rixon (142) & Greg Horner (153) put on 261 for the 6th wicket the record partnership for any wicket in all grades for the club at the time and still the record partnership for the 6th wicket in all grades. 1 October 2010 Shane Watson scored 126 in the first innings of the 1st Test vs India in Mohali. 2 October 1965 Norm O’Neill scored 168 on day 2 of the club’s first 1st Grade match vs St.George at Hurstville Oval the club’s first century, which stood as the club’s record score for all grades until Phil Weatherall broke it with 173* in 3rd Grade in 1983-84. It remained the club record score for 1sts until 1999-00, when Matthew Bradley scored 212*. 2 October 1965 Ted Rollinson took 8-64 in the second innings in A Shires vs Lindfield at Birchgrove Oval No.2, the club’s first 8-wicket haul.
