So when yo...u're driving near bicycle riders remember to allow a distance of at least: - 1 metre when the speed limit is 60km/h or less - 1.5 metres when the speed limit is more than 60km/h And don't forget, motorcyclists and bicycle riders can be hard to see! We acknowledge these are challenging and uncertain times for everyone, the safest health practice at present is to remain at home but some students may want to improve their driving skills and older drivers may require aged assessments. Sutherland Driving School is offering driving lessons to those who seek it and continues to be committed to its students. We are closely monitoring the latest information about Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and at this stage we are safely and legally able to offer driving lessons. 17.01.2022 Driver testing postponed!!!! In response to the latest health advice and risks associated with COVID-19, Service NSW has postponed driver testing across NSW for a minimum period of 2 months. This change comes into effect immediately. Information will be available week commencing 30 March regarding the conducting of driving tests that satisfy certain priority criteria.... At Sutherland Driving School the health and safety of our students and our community is always paramount never more so than right now given the escalating COVID-19 health crisis. We place immense value in the trust the community gives us to deliver safe, professional training, and take this responsibility seriously.... In light of this, we are suggesting some proactive health and safety measures to ensure your safety and to enable the best and safest experience. If you have flu-like symptoms such as fever, aching limbs or respiratory symptoms such as a cough, shortness of breath, runny nose or sneezing, we recommend you see a health professional and we ask you to cancel all the upcoming bookings until you have recovered. As of today’s announcement, if you have arrived from any overseas travel, please isolate yourself as per the recommendations from the Federal Government and cancel any lesson in the next 14 days and reschedule for thereafter.
