25.01.2022 #PetoftheWeek MISSY (her gigantic ears and beauty of a paw-sonality included) are ready for her new life journey. Missy the busy bee is as cute as they come, just a baby pup with a life of love and adventure to look forward to. Our super sweet baby girl loves nothing more than to squeeze herself into your lap for cuddles and a belly rub, and any activity that involves her being admired. Being a working dog this lady is a very clever little cookie, with plenty of energy and... sass being just a few of her amazing qualities. Although Missy is smart and sassy, she has not had the opportunity to reach her full potential in her young life just yet. Missy’s new pack will need to be committed to getting their amazing new family member the education and training she needs. This will brighten Missy’s days immensely, as her busy mind and body will be happy and content. Cattle Dog’s love a job, so if her new family would like to progress to any kind of dog sport Missy would be just wrapped. Cattle Dog’s make fabulous best friends, being loyal to the end is what they are loved for. Missy has another special quality. Even though her beautiful ears are gigantic, we believe that she is mostly deaf. This doesn’t bother Missy too much, but her new family will need to be understanding of this, and it will make her essential training all the more important. With the right trainer deaf dogs can be easily trained using hand signals, and with Missy being so clever we are sure she will be top of the class. All that said, Missy is just an ace dog. She is pretty and adorable, cheeky and funny, clever and adventurous, and the most cuddly Cattle Dog that ever was. Big ears and even bigger heart, Missy is ready for her new bestie for life. Missy is a Cattle Dog cross who is approximately 8 months of age. Missy has been at the shelter since 22/01/2021. The adoption fee for Missy is $386.00. This includes microchip, lifetime registration, de-sexing, vet check and vaccination, worm and flea treated and collar and Council tag. Rehoming Numbers R251000199 and R251000200 #deafdogsrock #cattledogqueen

24.01.2022 #PetoftheWeek Buzzing and beautifulHello DARKNESS! We have a very busy little lady at the shelter who is just ecstatic about life, it’s a Kelpie thing. Darkness is the most delightful burst of sunshine who just radiates happiness and is always looking for a good time. Our lady is a lover of everything that is going onbe it a game of fetch, playing with her toys followed making them explode into many pieces , playing tug, swimming, going crazy over the hose, hanging out... with her canine mates, getting cuddles and being an affectionate little sookDarkness has many talents and interests. Darkness is an all-round awesome dog, but she is a busy bee who thrives on activity and fun. Confident, a people and pooch lover, clearly stunning and dazzling, Darkness is the dog of dogs. Yes she is active and on the go, but once she has feels content and relaxed, she is just a big sooky puppy who loves a lick and snuggle and chilling out with her peeps. Darkness is after a new pack for life. She is not a dog for everyone, she will need a family understanding of her working dog breed and everything they need for a happy life. Being a working dog Darkness will need plenty of exercise each day as well as mental stimulation to keep that busy body and mind in tip top shape. Lots of training and activity and family adventures are on the list for our gal, and oh my dog will she have a lot of fun. Kelpie’s love to run so a nice big space that Darkness can call her castle and play fetch will also be a big plus. A dog loving family who enjoy training and working with their dog, agility or any kind of dog sport will put a big smile on Darkness’s pretty face. It’s been a bit of a wait for Darkness to begin her new life search, so she is barking ready to get away from shelter life and start living her dream. She is a dog that will always be loyal, always love you with passion, always make you smile, and always be ready for fun. What more could a dog lover ask for. Darkness is a female Kelpie who is approximately 12 months of age. Darkness has been at the shelter since 16/11/2020. The adoption fee for Darkness is $386.00. This includes microchip, lifetime registration, de-sexing, vet check and vaccination, worm and flea treated and collar and Council tag. 21.01.2022 It's our pleasure to introduce Cat of the Week... Huckleberry! Handsome Huck wants it all love, adventure and plenty of snacks! But most of all, Huckleberry wants a home and a family to call his very own. Fortunately for him his adventuring has landed him at the shelter where we can spread the word far and wide are you Huck’s new family? Huckleberry is an easy-to-please super-sweet cat with a grumpy exterior. While he might look grouchy and give you a grumble upon fi...rst introductions, all it takes is a little time (and ear scritches, maybe some BBQ chicken too) to break through his tough guy act and reveal the sweet attention-seeking kitty within. Once Huckleberry lets you into his heart, he simply can’t get enough affection and will purr and meow for more pats, please! It might take a little bit of time to get there, but we think Huckleberry is well worth the journey. To end up at the shelter, Huck was caught having a nosy in a local Woolworths whoops! We think he was shopping for chicken treats. But now that he’s realised he can have all the love and snacks he wants when he has a human to call his very own, we don’t think he’ll ever need to go plundering the pet aisle again. With his pretty white whiskers preened and his lovely fluffy coat all brushed and sleek, Huck is ready to move out if we can stop patting him first! This boy is too lovely to be spending his days waiting around. If you think you’re Huck’s next adventure, call us on 9710 0401 to book an appointment to meet him. Huckleberry is a male domestic medium hair cat, approximately 1 year of age. His reference number is 10388. Huckleberry has been at the animal shelter since 04/11/2020. The adoption fee for Huckleberry is $194.00. This includes microchip, lifetime registration, de-sexing, vet check and vaccination, worm and flea treated and collar and Council tag. He is adorably affectionate, inquisitive and cheeky, cute and bouncy and bursting with paw-sonality and love. We think Ronald McRabbit is as cute as they come, those massive ears, they even bounce! Cheeky and a dude who knows what he wants is one of Ronald’s most beloved and hilarious qualities. This big bunn...y of ours has been known to throw his food bowl about in a bunny tantrum if he feels the server is not dishing it up fast enough, or if his favourite fresh veggies have run out and he feels peckish for some more. He even chucks the broom about while his house is cleaned in clear annoyance that breakfast is yet to be served. Being a big boy Ronald loves his fine dining, and has a particular passion for fresh veggies. All that bouncing and investigating makes a rabbit hungry after all. Hunky spunk Ronald is definitely a character with charisma and constantly keeps us entertained. As well as cheeky and funny Ronald is incredibly sweet and super cuddly. 15.01.2022 Pet of the Week...BRONX Hot stuff BRONX got his Christmas clobber on today, what a festive spunk! Baby Bronx has his paws crossed that all this dressing up and festive fun will help his big wish come true, a home and family for Christmas and a bunch of pressies with his name on them. Everyone deserves a family and love for Christmas, and with Bronx being such a good boy, he absolutely deserves nothing but the best. Bronx is such a gift in every single way, what an amaz...ing dog who is just bursting with love and silliness and a born entertainer. A bit about our spunky Bronxy...other than the fact that he is all round incredible and easy on the eye. Bronx is looking for a family who will dote on him and give him everything he needs in life. Lots of exercise and playtime, plenty of canine adventures, training and education to help him on his mission to be the world’s greatest dog, lots of Bronx time as he is a born peoples pet and loves to be by your side. Bronx needs stability and routine and a family committed to his needs. He needs a secure backyard and things to keep him busy. He adores playtime and will run for hours chasing his abundance of toys, he is just a big silly pup. Bronx loves a swim and resembles a giant splashing orca whale while taking a dip, often we end up wetter than he does. With a guy like Bronx by your side, you will always be smiling as this is a dog who just spreads joy and laughter. Bronx has pup personality plus. He is the most loving and affectionate dog who loves to be cuddled and fussed over. He is a good boy indoors and will make a fabulous movie watching companion, so be it relaxing or adventuring Bronx is your man. Bronx has been a family guy and is good with children and thrives in family life. As he is an attention addict, he has requested that he is the only pet in the home, there will be no room to share the love that Bronx is ready to lavish. Bronx is a hot dog. Those eyes are just stunning and his silky black coat of silk makes patting him mesmerizing. The sad facts are that many pets in waiting will spend Christmas alone in shelters without a family to spoil them. Bronx does not want to be on that list. He wants to be on Santa’s good boy list with a home and family as his number one gift of choice. So if you are looking to adopt and rescue a dog, Bronx is the total packagefun, loving, hilarious, gorgeous, and yours for many Christmas’s to come. We love this dog, and know that he will be the gift that keeps on giving all year round. Bronx is a Male American Staffordshire Terrier cross who is 3 years of age. Bronx has been at the shelter since 02/12/2020. The adoption fee for Bronx is $290.00. 12.01.2022 It’s the Queen of Cats who’s in need of some lovinMeet NATALIE! Natalie, or Nat Cat as we have nicknamed her, is total sweetheart and a beauty queen bonanza . This senior gal is glowing with love and affection, and you can just feel her love vibes while you pat her into purr-nation. Natalie has had a horrible week to say the least (get your tissues ready). Her owner just passed away, leaving a sad and confused kitty with no place to go. To add to the greatest loss of her ...life, Nat Cat had to pack her few things and immediately move into the shelter so she could begin the quest of starting again at the age of 12 years. What a heartbreaking reality for a beautiful cat who is all about the love . But we have to say this incredibly brave lady has settled into shelter life amazingly well, and is just happy if she is getting a pat, purring like a machine, drooling just a little and enjoying some fine dining. She is also a massive fan of cat grass, and has been happily munching away like a moo cow. Although it has only been a few days that we have known Natalie, at her age she has nothing to hide and truly is the warmest, most gentle, incredibly affectionate darling who has put no paw wrong. Nat Cat just wants to love and be loved, life is simple and sweet in your twilight years. Natalie has been well cared for in her 12 years of feline adventures. She is a stunning woman with her colourful silky coat and soulful eyes. Natalie has been loved to the point that it may be time for a diet. We have also nicknamed her Fat Nat, but don’t tell her, we don’t want her to get a complex about her gorgeous booty. Even if she is a bit on the wobbly side, that just means there is more of her to cuddle and keep you warm at night . With everything that Nat Cat has had to endure, obviously we want the best home ever for her highness. We promise that she will be the best friend you have ever had, that she will do no wrong, that she will love you unconditionally, that she will purr and dribble a little on you in thanks for your love, and that she will make you incredibly happy. All is all, Natalie Nat Cat is just awesome. So if you think that you could love Natalie fur-ever and give her all that she wishes for, come for a cuddle and cat chat with this fine feline and mend her broken heart. The love that she will give you in return will be phenomenal, she is just that kinda woman. The adoption fee for Natalie is $194.00. This includes microchip, lifetime registration, de-sexing, vet check and vaccination, worm and flea treated and collar and Council tag. Rehoming Numbers for SSC and COS: R251000199 and R251000200

12.01.2022 Cat of the Week... HARPO! Handsome Harpo and his trills of delight. This big friendly fellow is ready to step out into the world once again and find his new beginning. This is sadly Harpo’s second visit to the shelter. Darling Harpo was adopted from us when he was just 8 weeks old, way back in 2017, but his first beginning was sadly not meant to be forever. After 2020 threw his owner some struggles, she had no choice but to bring Harpo back to where it all began. Now Har...po is on the lookout for his new forever, the real forever, the one that lasts, well... forever. Harpo is a very sweet boy, he’ll make plenty of biscuits for you while you sit and pat his beautiful coat. His gorgeous green eyes, begging you not to stop and just take him home so that he can once again curl up on a comfy lounge in the warmth with his human. He’d be happy to watch whatever you’re watching on telly, just don’t forget to keep his food bowl full! He’ll give you nuzzles and purrs while you fill that bowl up, but once it’s ready, move over sister! There’s food to be eaten! Harpo shared his previous home with his feline brother, so wouldn’t mind a home with another cats company. If you think this fine feline is the one for you, give us a call on 9710 0401 to book an appointment to meet him. Just be prepared to leave here with him in tow, because you won’t want to walk away without him. Harpo’s adoption fee is $194, which includes de-sexing, microchipping, lifetime NSW registration, 1st vaccination and up to date worm and flea treatment. Rehoming numbers for SSC & COS: R251000199 & R251000200 #Biscuitmaker #happyharpo #loveme #foreverhomeahead

02.01.2022 FAMILY BRONX Bronx got all dolled up like a slobbery gift in hopes of finding a family by Christmas. That didn’t happen, Bronx soldiered on. But the great news is he has found a family by New Year’s...our spunky monkey was ADOPTED yesterday to a family made just for him. Beautiful Bronx, with his cheekiness and hunky spunky hotness, became a shelter pup back at the beginning of December. The moment he arrived we knew he had charm and character. The day that Bronx moved i...n, a neighbour had found him swimming about having a blast in their swimming pool. Best part of the story is that when our rangers arrived to pick him up, he was still swimming about in the pool and paddled over with a tennis ball is his mouth, hoping they would join him. You have to love the optimism of dogs. Fast forward a month that was a bit of a challenge for poor Bronx. His boy bits got all swollen due to his swimming antics after recently being de-sexed, and yes he had to wear the dreaded bucket. But once that bucket was off he was back in the water like the big fish he is, and ready to find love and family. All that love and family showed up yesterday to meet our eligible bachelor. And no surprises they adored him, and Bronx felt very much the same. There was licking of the baby (nice and gentle of course), there was play and cuddles, and eventually the adoption news that Bronx had been waiting almost a month for. Bronx had no idea what was happening until it was time to get in the car and take off to his happy new life, then that tail was wagging with an overjoyed smile on his beautiful face. This lovely family all dressed in black to match their new dog, are now complete. Thanks for adopting Family Bronx, that’s one lucky doggo and a very lucky family. #adopted

01.01.2022 Family of BLUE make their debut Louie, or Blue-is, or Blue Lewhas found his FAMS! And we wonder when they will have as many nicknames for Louie as we do. That’s what happens when you love an animal, they end up with 20 thousand plus names (how many does your beloved have)? Louie has been somewhat of a shelter regular in recent times, we got to know this hot spunky spud pretty well on his regular visits. From what began as a turbulent relationship of frustration and irri...tation (Louie was an out of control tornado), resulted in love and admiration for a dog who just needed some training and structure. Turns out Louie was a smart blue cookie, he worked out how to be the best blue dog that ever was! GO BLUE LEW! Then one sunny day about 3 weeks ago a lovely family of four came to meet our rambunctious little rascal. We filled them in on what Louie needed in life, and Louie well and truly sold himself with his big gorgeous smile. This once naughty goose of a dog, proved himself to be a real family man by being so sweet and gentle with the young children, and understandably that was that. Louie was ADOPTED and homeward bound. Clearly Louie was excited about his big day, hence the winking octopus on his boy bits in his first family photo. Great work Blue-is! Blue Lew is a dog who just spreads happiness and sunshine with his love, ridiculousness, comedy and cuddles. And we know that this love of life will keep his new family smiling. We also know that there may be times when cyclone Louie will be not so funny, but with those spunky hunky looks, it will be hard to be annoyed with him for long. Family BLUE, thank you for adopting and taking a chance on our hot blue heartthrob. There will be nothing blue about a life filled with Lou. #adopted #bluespunk
