25.01.2022 This is so sad to hear the news of Sarge, the weather is getting warmer, so please make sure you think of your fur-babies over summer, I have came close in losing my two boys last year due to heat exhaustion. Aircon on, no walks though the day, don’t leave them out side during the day, cool mates and cool collars from Kmart even shell pools from Bunnings will help. RIP Sarge

Please alway ask to see parents photos, breeders registry Number and prefix, look up the prefix by heading to the registry that the breeder with with, could be the website or even a simply phone call to the to double check they are registered. We are happy to answer any questions and always ask a lot of questions..

12.01.2022 Stenotic nares surgery This chart is from the Cambridge University to assess grading. The first picture shows Pugs first column, French Bulldogs are the second and Bulldogs are the third. Remember this is the opening to the naval cavity and then if the breeder is aware of the line of their dogs and improving with every match, they should be slowly but surely be able to breed with wider nostrils. However you can still drag through pups that do have narrow nostrils and they wi...ll need some of the nostril removed to improve airflow and they will benefit from airway surgery. Recommendation is to do it with desexing. We dont recommend putting your Frenchies under anaesthetic too often or for very long at all so make sure you have a Veterinarian that knows what they are doing. Always ask your vet for advice.

For those who think breeding is making money and easy - it's not! You think you'll get rich quick from breeding - you don't!... I'm extremely lucky to help out my vets from when my girls go under to helping with the puppies to breathe, the nurses and Surgeon they are the best team, this story of Piper brought a tear to my eye as I know how dangerous it is for a Frenchie to go under and to have puppies, thank you for sharing Bullyfull Bulldogs

06.01.2022 I just want to share a little story, and still are going though with Onyx, I want to share this with you so you can and hopefully you might add this into your daily routine. Trust me its cost me, it has almost cost an eye ball, lost of life and lots of money. So Onyx ended up getting an ulcer, I took him to after hours vet and we got him on some cream, it didn't clear up with-in the 3-4 days, so we ended up doing an eye scrape (couple days after), this was a stubborn ul...cer!! We were ready to do a second scrape, and in that day he woke up with it getting infected, so off to SASH and did lots of tests, and then he was admitted to emergence, think he might have to have a major eye operation (eye graft) he ended up being in ICU for two nights as he over heated, ans was on oxygen, they had to sedate him to charm him down, they a nurse looking over her 24 hours, he has to have aggressive treatment to the eye......He come out of ICU and with lots of drugs, 6 times a day and there was about 6 different medications. Today, he is still having the medication but its now cut down. The Doctor at SASH told me she deals with a lot of ulcers in flat face dogs as they test to run into things. We did a tear duct test in the other eye and it was very low, this is a major part on where he is getting ulcer from, if the tear duct isnt producing lubricant for the eye this is the big cause ulcers they said.. So now my daily routine is for all my dogs is put eye drops into their eyes to help lubrication.. What I use? Chlorisg eye ointment or drops and if you can Optimmune (this is script only) This is Onyx with his infected eye 1 week in from medication So please lube and protect your dogs eye, if you see them squinting, please take them to the vets straight away.

01.01.2022 Never owned a Frenchie or just got one and dont know much about them? Were coming into warmer weather and its important to know some thing.. please read the below post by @Brawn Bulldoggges to explain more.. education and awareness is the key

01.01.2022 ..:FIRST AID:. Do you have a go to kit? This is my go to kit:-... 1) Betadine cream and liquid. The first is for little cuts and the second is to soak his paws in it if its red to kill and bacteria and fungus. 2) Scourban / Peptosyl (pink liquid) - when they get diarrhoea. 3) Vaseline to protect his paws and belly when there is pollen and long grass. 4) Otomax ointment for ear fungus (have to get it from the vet 5) Apple cider vinegar for fungal in the paws 6) Nail clippers 7) Flea and worm tablets 8) Chlorsig eye ointment 9) Nutrigel for energy and vitamin concentrate supplement 10 ) Surgical hand wash liquid from the pharmacy to wash his paws down if hes gone into long grass or like the beach. Kills or germs and if he has little cuts heals them. 11) Phenergan 10mg will help with any itchy skin, rashes, any allergy symptoms Comment below what you fins is a winner in yours!
