09.01.2022 Something to think about.

08.01.2022 An interesting insight on refereeing at the very highest level. The feeling of hurt, when you make a mistake lives with every referee - even at grassroots level. Referees are human after all!! Whilst refereeing can be a lonely place, the reality is when full time is blown the support and community amongst fellow referees kicks in and we all stand tall together ... even if we have had a shocker #referee #sutherlandshire #ssfra

07.01.2022 SSFRA kicked off celebrations for FNSW #FemaleFootballWeek last Friday Night with the SWA’s ‘top of the table clash’, appointing 3 female referees to the match. Katherine Cox who officiated the 2018 AAW State Cup Final had the pleasure of officiating this match on a mild Autumn night. This Saturday we celebrate and unite 16 of our female referee’s by appointing three grounds in the Shire, dedicated with full coverage with female match officials. This will see matches range from w12’s to 18a’s. SSFRA thanks Football NSW and Sutherland Shire Football Association for their ongoing support in assisting us in the promotion of female participation at all levels.
