20.01.2022 We are SO excited to be opening the doors to charming, peaceful Sylvania Library with new hours and COVID-safe measures on Tuesday 17 November. The new hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9.30am to 1.00pm, Thursday 1.00pm to 5.00pm and Saturday 9.00am to 12noon. What will be different about visiting?... You can drop by to browse, borrow, return, study, relax, and access computers & WiFi! See opening hours and FAQs here: bit.ly/ssl-covid To ensure our libraries are as safe as possible, visitors: will be limited in numbers in each library at any one time. must follow social distancing requirements, keeping 1.5 metres away from others. will be offered hand sanitiser before and after visiting. must provide their name and contact details. 17.01.2022 PSA: IMPORTANT SERVICE INTERRUPTION. Computer access and printing services at all Sutherland Shire Libraries will undergo essential maintenance from Tuesday 9 March 2021. This means you won’t be able to use PCs, scan, print or photocopy at any branch for up to three days. Please make a note of the date and, if you need to use any of these services, make sure you visit us by Monday 8 March to ensure access. Wi-Fi will still be available for those with their own device.... We apologise for this inconvenience. We will work hard to restore these services as soon as possible and update you when they are available again.

06.01.2022 #UPDATE on facilities at Sutherland Shire Council: As of tomorrow, Tuesday 24 November, visitors to all Council facilities will be required to check-in electronically. As a result of changes to a health order by NSW Health, which applies to gyms, pools, libraries, galleries and other public facilities, we are no longer able to use paper-based records. Staff at every facility will be available to help those unable to use QR technology on their own devices.
