10.01.2022 We are OPEN! As many people are aware, the Federal Government recently announced a ban on all non-essential indoor gatherings of more than 100 people as the cou...ntry responds to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. As a community club, we take our responsibilities for the health and wellbeing of our members, guests and staff very seriously. We have followed all guidelines from government and health authorities regarding infection control measures and will continue to do so. We assure you that WE ARE STILL OPEN and we are committed to offering a friendly, welcoming and hygienic environment for our members and guests. How will the restrictions affect people wanting to visit Tradies? The restrictions will be in place across all 3 venues. It is understood that the restrictions apply to single enclosed spaces, allowing up to 100 people in various areas of each club. In addition to infection control measures already in place, we have arranged our rooms and furniture to comply with social distancing recommendations, increased our regular sanitisation practices and installed multiple hand sanitisers across all our venues. Trading hours for our 3 venues remain unchanged with the exception of the following, which have been made to comply with the new restrictions. If not mentioned below, all club operations will be running as normal. TRADIES GYMEA - Our Willow restaurant spaces will be limited, we recommend booking or calling ahead. - Max’s World Kids Club is closed. - Serendip restaurant spaces will be limited, we recommend booking or calling ahead. - The Members Lounge & TAB trading hours have been adjusted as follows: * Monday Thursday 3pm - 8pm * Friday 3pm 10pm * Saturday 12pm 10pm * Sunday 12pm 8pm - The Members Swipe Entrance has been locked for the foreseeable future. This is to ensure we can accurately account for all people in the building and maintain the capacity restrictions. - Poker, Bridge & Valet Parking have been cancelled. - The Spinners are Winners promotion has been postponed until further notice to comply with the new restrictions. All current tickets will be kept until such time as the promotion relaunches. TRADIES HELENSBURGH - The Bistro, bar and café areas combined will have limited capacity. Additional seating for up to 80 people will be available in the function room. We encourage people to book or call ahead. - The TAB will have a maximum capacity of 10 people including staff. - Max’s World Kids Club and the outdoor playground will be closed. - Live music, Trivia and Bingo/Housie will continue with social distancing measures in place. TRADIES CARINGBAH As preparations get underway for the renovations at Tradies Caringbah... - The Loft and Bayview Room will be closed from Monday 23rd of March. - The Main Bar will be closed from Thursday 26th of March. We’ll keep our members and guests up to date with the renovations via our social media channels, website and enews. More details of how the restrictions will affect each of our venues, their various facilities, services, promotions and regular events are available on our website www.tradies.com.au Our thoughts are with every individual, family and business affected by the virus both locally and globally. These are extraordinary and difficult times, but we also have an extraordinary community and we will get through this together. Please take care of yourselves and take care of others where you can. We will continue to keep you updated via our social media channels and enews. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask a member of staff when you visit or contact us via [email protected] On behalf of our Board and Management, we would like to thank all our members and guests for your support and co-operation during this time. Jason McMaster General Manager

09.01.2022 To all Titans & Families, Please see the letter from our President on the status of the 2020 season for Titans FC To all our Titans players, families, buddies and committee members I am writing to provide some information in relation to the Titans participation in the proposed shortened 2020 football season.... After much consideration and consultation with health professionals, Sutherland Shire Football Association and the Titans Executive committee, it has been decided that Titans will not be participating during this shortened 2020 season due to the risks and restrictions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. It has been a very difficult decision to make as we know how much football means to our players and their families, but the most important consideration must be the health of our playing members. A large number of Titans players are in a high risk category in regard to their health. The expert advice we have received is that we would be exposing our players to an unacceptable risk on game days due to the close contact between players and also the buddies. Although teams from mainstream clubs will commence playing (with social distancing) in a shortened competition from 4 July, we cannot expect that Titans players will be able to maintain these social distance requirements on the field. We absolutely understand how disappointing this is for many of our members and their families, as the Titans players love their sport and look forward to the routine of playing every week. However, we feel this is the safest option and the right decision to make for our club at this very difficult time. All players who have paid the 2020 registration fees ($100) will be refunded in full, excluding the Active Kids voucher. We will come back bigger, better and SAFER in 2021 and look forward to welcoming everyone then. Warmest regards George Lazarou President, Sutherland Titans F.C.
