21.01.2022 Happy Easter everyone! With the days already getting shorter the lights are already getting a workout!

21.01.2022 All horses breakers or retrains get led off another horse. Leading of another horse helps in numerous ways. It helps the horse to stay relaxed with someone above them, gets them used to travelling which makes their first ride a lot calmer and less stressful for everybody.

16.01.2022 Your horse only gets one chance at a good start!!! I like to explain it like this imagine your young horse is a smooth piece of paper, a good trainer carefully folds your horse into the best shape they can be. The cowboy/flyby night "trainers" scrunch the paper into any old shape. Its easy to put a wrinkles in the paper but nearly impossible for yourself or you next trainer to take them completely out while further educating or restarting your horse! ... 10.01.2022 PUZZLE Puzzle came scared with life in general after having a bit of a rough start in his training he stayed for 5 weeks after a week of ground work and 4 weeks of ridding he made a complete change and left a calm and confident horse I do still have a few spots left for 2020 for breakers or retrainers send me a message!

04.01.2022 On the market! 6yr old mare 15.1, is a half sisters to my challenge horse, shes not a beginners horse but is very quite I broke her in, shes been taken pretty slow shes been in and out probably 4 or 5 times she has done plenty of farm work, bush ridding and started flat work, last time she came in I started to prep her more for my challenges with obstacles and cross country (mainly bigger bush logs) jumps and she will be started on cattle as well in coming works. She has ...soft mouth good stop and roll backs and good leg aids Perfect to have around good in groups or on her own super easy to shoe(I shoe her) pretty brave mare not much worries her! Video was maybe her 5th ride in after 6 months of Rego pending $8000

03.01.2022 Circles! My grandad (Norm Woodhouse) caught circles on Wombargo and broke him in and gifted him to the Bairnsdale RDA! Brumbys make great kids horses my first horse was also a brumby (photo in comments) Brumby numbers need to be controlled absolutely just not by shooting!

01.01.2022 Expressions of interest.... After such a horrible year we’ve had with bush fires at the start of the year and Covid putting a hold on things, we thought it was ...a good time to start up our over night rides again before the weather gets to hot! So just seeing how much interest we get and then we will put some dates out there once we know that this something you guys would be interested in. So our overnight rides we are wanting to do will be over two nights, so the first day we meet at the yards and head to camp, second day will be full of riding and third day will be half day ride and then driving home. So these rides are completely catered for, on our horses all you would need to bring is your swag and any alcohol you would like for around the camp fire. We will be camping around the native dog area which you will get the chance to see hopefully plenty of brumbies so cameras are a must! These rides would be run during the week and The cost of this will be $650pp. Or We also have planned a three day ride around the Native dog area, so again plenty of brumbies to be seen, during the week for smaller groups. Again this will be fully catered for and will be three full days of riding. The cost of this ride will be $800pp
