22.01.2022 Gravel driveway repair. Please contact us. Back in February, Sutton ran a competition for a free gravel driveway repair. It took a couple of months to get the 50 entries he was after and I'd all but forgotten I'd entered. Then I received an email saying I'd won first prize! 8 hours of machine and operator. He came out and we organised a time, which then got rained out. So rescheduled and off he went. Sutton is a machine, the first day he did 5.5 hours with the excavator (and ...we couldn't even get him to stop for a coffee), clearing out the spoon drain and putting in 3 100mm pic pipes to help with drainage. He ran into a lot of trouble in the spoon drain as we're on a massive rock, so some areas were not as deep as Sutton would of liked. The next day Sutton came with the bobcat. Moving 9m3 of gravel and grading the driveway. Sutton went above and beyond his competition, doing extra time as the rocks put him back. After the 8 hours were up we finally got him to stop for a coffee and lunch. The neighbour heard the machine and popped up to ask if Sutton could clear a little patch between our properties. He certainly doesn't mess around and did much more than was expected. Very professional and very easy to deal with. Would recommend Sutton for any earthworks.
