21.01.2022 Resilience is directly correlated with perception and internal locus of control.... If one lacks the internal self regulation which enables adverse experiences to be managed, therapy can enable learning or re-learning of these skills/mechanisms. Perception is significantly effected by thought, despite any rigidity or negativity in our thought patterns, therapy can enable cognitive re-shaping. Neurological Malleability allows us to reshape, relearn and reform how we see, think, and feel about things therefore resilience is attainable.

21.01.2022 Staying safe is not always conducive to growth. By avoiding fear evoking ppl/places/situations we create a temporary state of feeling safe but by exposing ourselves whilst carrying the fear, despite the fear we gain a sense of strength and we grow

08.01.2022 Are you or anyone you know struggling with low mood or anxiety? Stress or burn out or general day to day difficulties? Research has shown that the 'fit' between therapist and client is the most powerful factor in positive therapeutic outcome. http://www.suzannacopppsychologicalservices.com.au/

07.01.2022 Is your anxiety fear based or is it your body telling you that things aren't quite right? Although anxiety can be very uncomfortable and at times intolerable, it's important to differentiate whether it's fear based or intuition saying 'no' or 'things aren't the way they should be' or 'I shouldn't be here/doing this.' Next time u feel it take a deep breath and just check in with yourself.
