08.01.2022 This is a picture of me taken a couple of weeks before the virus reached pandemic status. Everyones lives have changed so much, and images from across the world can be pretty upsetting at times. I find myself having to disconnect from the media images sometimes and concentrate on whats going on closer to home. I said to a friend that I havent seen in a long time that lately Ive been thinking of all the hugs that are going to happen around the world when this thing i...s over. I miss being able to hug my family, my friends, my beautiful neighbours and random strangers . It really does give you a deeper appreciation of whats important. I read a Facebook post the other day where someone wanted to do something positive, which in this case was to encourage people to plant home vegetable gardens, most of the responses centred around the reasons why that couldnt happen - such as Councils are dividing up plots of land for developers, nobody has time, etc etc. Its always easier to find a reason why something cant be done, than to find a way to do it.
