22.01.2022 New Year Resolutions I know I know I’m getting in early talking about the New Year, but it is October now and we are fast approaching that time of the year people where people put off making changes to their health and weight until ‘after Christmas’ and then ‘after New Year.’ So here I am getting in early with why you should start TODAY!...Continue reading

21.01.2022 Consistency and compound interest I talk a lot about small changes, consistently, changing ONE thing at a time, mastering that, and moving on to the next thing. Most people resist this way of thinking. It’s not ‘fast enough’ and there is no ‘immediate results’.... So people wait, they’re waiting for the BIG thing, the ‘home run’, the winning lotto ticket, the ‘answer’. But the thing is that often the BIG hit comes as a result of lots of little hits. If you try to do too much, too soon. It tends to all fall over and we get discouraged. Honestly ask yourself, how has this worked out for you in the past? You’ve waited till Monday (the universal day to change your life), you’ve printed off a ‘diet plan’ and you’ve sworn to yourself that you’re going to stick to it 100%! You are never going to eat (insert your ‘bad’ foods of choice here). You’re going to exercise every day for at least an hour. You’ve invested in a calorie counter and a step tracker. You are going to do this! But then life happens, the weather isn’t great so you skip your workout. You’re tired so you buy take away. You’re stressed and so you eat the food you’ve sworn to never touch again. You say to yourself I’ve blown it now, might as well make the most of it and start again next Monday. Trust me I am not making fun of you. I lived like this for decades! Lasting change happened for me when I stopped trying to do it ‘perfectly’ and just picked the easiest thing and did that consistently! My results weren’t fast, but they did accumulate! It got easier over time instead of harder. As each new task I chose became a habit, my new normal. So I encourage you not to discount the ‘small’ stuff as ‘never going to make a difference’. Because it’s the small stuff over time, that compounds into the BIG stuff that we are looking for x

17.01.2022 Love this so much! I need this for home!

09.01.2022 Marianne Williamson Quote I read on today's call - Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? Your playing small does not serve the world. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

06.01.2022 Super excited my copy of Rise by Karen Gunton arrived today! I absolutely adored her lighthouse revolution book, and so I am keen for this instalment! If you haven’t yet listened to my interview with Karen about rising by giving to self, where we dive deep into what happens when you lose the weight, how friends and relationships shift. ... You can check it out here - https://www.karengunton.com/pod/riser-give-to-self

06.01.2022 If you’re done with depriving yourself of chocolate, undrinkable shakes, gruelling diets, and 12 week challenges, welcome to my page - you’re in the right place! I’m Suzanne and I believe people often gain too much weight themselves because they give too much help to others. They over-eat because they over-give. I help people to deal with their pattern of over-giving so that their food issues largely take care of themselves.... My methods are a little different - I focus on adding things in, rather than cutting things out with diets and deprivation. I support you to develop simple daily habits that allow you to feel successful each day, starting now. What’s different about me is that I I used to be a yo-yo dieter and have overcome my own weight struggle, from my first diet at age 4. I’ve been through my own dieting roller coaster, losing 43 kilograms at age 22, only to regain it all back, then losing 60 kilograms at age 28, only to regain it all plus interest! All up I’ve lost and gained in excess of 500 kilograms in my dieting history. I finally quit dieting at age 30 in 2015, released 78 kilograms (yes an entire person) and have maintained it ever since. Many weight loss experts have never struggled with their own weight. They seem to have supernatural fitness-genes and maintaining a healthy weight just comes naturally to them. Over the years I have learned many tools, applied them, committed myself and now I’d love to teach you what I’ve learned from my personal journey, as well as the clients I’ve worked with. If you've been struggling to stick to a weight loss program and have been looking for help you're in the right place! I send a free newsletter with helpful hints and tips about mindset for weight release, and unique content not shared elsewhere, you can sign up here: http://www.suzanneculberg.com/newsletter If you’d like to have a chat about whether we’d be a good fit to work together book in here: https://suzanneculberg.as.me/connectionchat If talking to me 1:1 is too confronting (I get it, believe it or not I'm a shy introvert!) I have a self-study course available for only $127 AUD, which will help you uncover your overweight thinking, more details: https://we-being.com/ups/uncover-your-overweight-thinking/

03.01.2022 The rains are here! One of my biggest excuses for not exercising used to be the weather. It’s too hot, cold, wet, windy....... I used to be really precious
