25.01.2022 So proud of Millie, she came for some training 6 weeks ago for some fear aggression around other dogs. Once a week consultation for 6 weeks. Millie would lunge, show her teeth and growl to tell other dogs to stay away from her... Now Millie can be right next to my girls, we have been working with Posh and Zest separately over the weeks. Today she ran with both Posh and Zest together for the first time and Millie was awesome... Millies dog body language around other dogs has improved massively and she no longer fears other dogs which is absolutely awesome Videos to follow from today in the comments, Millie is a totally diffferent dog Millie now knows good things happen around other dogs If you are doing things like jerking on the lead, yelling at your dog, saying no or slapping your dog around other dogs, you are teaching your dog bad things happen around other dogs so your training your dog to fear other dogs... Thanks to Posh and Zest for being well balanced dogs able to handle these types of situations, love my girlies

Wow how good does Tess look now, Tess has lost lots of weight (still a bit more to go) so she can chase the ball now she can even be in the same room as the cat now Tess is doing awesome and also knows her name and has a recall some massive steps forward in such a short time What a lucky girl, Tess found a br...illiant new loving owner, no many dogs get a second chance they usually end up at the pound. Look at that smile on her face

19.01.2022 I have placed this here for your information:) after my puppy has had it's final injection I then do the titre test to see if my dog needs re vaccinating. I have just tested my dogs again this month, I like this method as I am not putting chemicals in my dogs body that they don't need which can cause health issues for some dogs over the years. Zest is turning 9 in a few months she has never needed another vaccination since her 1 year old vaccination, she has 3 times the ant...ibodies that she needs for protection. Posh was also tested and also did not need re vaccinating. 14.01.2022 Here is super star of the week Winnie. Winnie is 16 weeks old, this is her 3rd puppy session. What an amazing sit stay she has for such a small puppy, her family are doing an AMAZING job with her, homework When you are teaching a sit stay you have to have a clear start and a clear finish so sit starts the behaviour for Winnie, the hand signal and the word stay tell her what to do next stay.... You need to walk away slowly and build up 2 seperate things, the length of time she can stay and also seperately build up the distance from your dog. Sit stay needs a finish so use a word to tell your dog the exercise is over and you can do what you want now... so words like get it, break, free Winnie is such a clever puppy You will also notice in the second sit stay Winnie automatically offers the sit without being ask because we have been shaping no jumping up instead offer a sit and you will be rewarded...

07.01.2022 It’s going to be super hot over the weekend so make sure you keep your dogs/animals cool So shade or bring your dog inside in the air conditioning, wet them and put them near a fan is also a great way to keep your dog cool. Short nosed or flat faced dog breeds are more susceptible to heat stroke so French bull dogs, Pugs, English bulldogs boxers etc.... Provide plenty of fresh water in a shaded area, a kiddies pool with water in the shade is great for your pup to lay in. Do not exercise your dog or walk in the middle of the day try at either sunrise or sunset Avoid walking on hot sand, concrete, asphalt, roads can burn the skin off your pouches paws. If you can’t hold the back of your hand in the road for 10 seconds it’s too hot for your dogs feet. Do not leave your dog in a car or vehicle even with the windows down. Make some popsicles, frozen treats in a Toppl or Kong or a simple plastic container with some kibble and natural yoghurt and water frozen. Watch out for heat stress, dogs naturally reduce their body temperature by panting. (Evaporative cooling from lungs to mouth) Stay cool everyone
