23.01.2022 Suzie Venn feeling very proud.

23.01.2022 Love will always be love. Congratulations to Corey and Pat who had their 10 year relationship legally stamped today. It's a proud moment for all .

23.01.2022 The best funeral celebrant training anyone could hope for. I absolutely endorse this course.if this is your pathway , I encourage you to make the call.

22.01.2022 Another beautiful milestone achieved in my business this week. 700 funerals. 700 families and Funeral Directors who have entrusted me to lead them through a farewell ceremony. It remains my honour and privilege. Believe me - It is not about the number, its the passion and commitment that is behind that number. Families are not numbers, they are real. And I am grateful that I have the opportunity to do what I do -To keep it real. Thank you everyone for believing in me, and inspiring me to evolve with this exhausting, challenging yet remarkably rewarding role.

19.01.2022 so, it is never ending excitement in my world and have a big announcement. As you all know I am extremely passionate about funerals and have made the decision ...to return to full time celebrancy. I have the blessing of my former employer as we all knew being a funeral celebrant makes me who I am. So, starting today I am taking bookings for funerals, memorials and weddings. Thanks for joining me on this wonderful journey. I love youse all. See more

18.01.2022 This charity provides a much needed beacon of hope and support to families who have lost a little one. Please read and consider a donation. Merry Xmas everyone x

17.01.2022 Todays message of inspiration. I was at coles this evening and I was going through the checkout and another customer was waiting at the smoke stand next to my register. I smiled at him and said hello. He beamed from ear to ear. I finished my transaction and made my way to my car. He walked past when Id finished unloading my trolley and he said Ill take your trolley to the bay for you. He said I was a really nice lady and I had made his day by smiling at him. He then said I was beautiful. Not in a creepy way. I told him he was too kind and to have a lovely evening. Made me think of the glen Campbell song.. youve got to try a little kindness, and show a little kindness and shine your light for everyone to see. So glad to be the one to shine a light at coles tonight.

15.01.2022 What a beautiful way to start the day..am email from a family whom I led through a funeral for their mother. I feel so humbled and grateful when I receive feedback like this. Just wanted to share. No need to comment..Im just feeling very proud today. Good morning Suzie, I just wanted to say a big thank you for the wonderful way you led our ceremony for mum yesterday. So many people commented to me what a fantastic job you did. They were very impressed. Quite a few compared t...heir previous uncomfortable experiences of celebrants at funerals, and all agreed you got it just right. We were all overwhelmingly happy with the ceremony and your part in it, so thank you for helping make it such a special and beautiful occasion. Very best wishes See more

15.01.2022 Suzie Venn Celebrant has reached a significant milestone this week. 400 families for farewell services. 400 opportunities to make a difference. And I know I have, they tell me. I am so proud of me, and the trust and confidence that Funeral Directors and families place in me. It remains my honour and privilege. Thank you - You all know who you are xx

13.01.2022 Ive been back in the full time world of celebrancy for a little bit now , and I couldnt be more delighted. This is not a job for me (and yes, whilst this is how I make my living) it is my genuine passion. Im grateful for everyone who is on this journey with me.You all know who you are. x

12.01.2022 This was a beautiful day. The couple were gorgeous. The vendors were excellent. The location was perfect. I made everyone cry (happy tears.). Gotta love being a celebrant. Thanks TRPV for making magic with your videography.

10.01.2022 Had the privilege today to lead a gathering in a Mothers Day remembrance ceremony. Always a pleasure to work alongside the team at Heritage Park Crematorium. And even better that my children wanted to join in too. Im a lucky mum and celebrant.

10.01.2022 I really appreciate it when people take a moment to share their feedback . An email recieved from a family who lost their precious Mum Suzie,... Thank you so much for doing Mums service today, it was really lovely. You spoke beautifully about Mum and did her life story justice. I think she would have loved it! Again thank you, it was very much appreciated.

09.01.2022 My wedding couples are the gifts that keep on giving...the other day I received a handwritten thank you card that was just beautiful. It has been 1 year since I married this gorgeous couple in a romantic and personal ceremony. Some of the words are " we were delighted, humbled and forever grateful that you married us" " You were the one who brought it all together and made us feel supported, and special throughout the whole experience" "You took the ceremony to a whole new ...level, making it so personal, empowering and enjoyable for everyone" "You have a real warmth about you, and bring a sense of comfort and joy and people cant help but be happy and cheerful around you" Oh my, very happy celebrant, and one very happy couple (celebrating their first anniversary...with bubba on the way) They say that life is easy if you love what you do..guess what. .I DO!

09.01.2022 I love my job as a celebrant. This is why. Credit to Naomi V Photography for capturing the magic.

07.01.2022 New business cards are on their way. very happy.

07.01.2022 I love it when my couples share their sneak preview photos with me. Congratulations Maddi and Nathan, you were a delight to work with. x

07.01.2022 Very cute and clever

07.01.2022 That moment after a funeral ceremony when a gentleman comes over, looks you directly in the eye and says " Suzie, I was a Secretary in the RSL of NSW for over 30 years and I have been to countless funerals, but what you delivered today was by far the best I have ever experienced ". I was speechless, this lovely man took away my words. I looked back at him, and said that it was people like him that motivated me to do the things I do. One proud celebrant tonight.

07.01.2022 Actually, here I am. Making people laugh through their ceremony. Its a privilege. Thankyou Naomi V Photography for the great picture

06.01.2022 It has been a huge couple of days in my world. Buying and selling homes, and then out of the blue a job offer that I have considered, and accepted. Today I put ...my Funeral celebrant kit bag in the cupboard, and in one week I begin a new role at Centenary Memorial Gardens. I'm excited, delighted and a bit sad all at once. Delighted to be learning new things, excited to be working less than 80 hours pw (hopefully); and sad -well, you all know how I love being a funeral celebrant. I will still be marrying people, just not farewelling them. Thank you all for being there with me on this amazing journey. Family, friends and funeral celebrant and directors alike (and many of you cross over into 2 categories). I am the sum of all my experiences, and I'm so happy to have been on this ride, with each and every one of you. I'm taking a few days off to refresh, recoup, and pack. From the bottom of my grateful celebrant heart - THANKYOU x PS After my last service today my phone died. Please don't be cranky if I don't answer. Facebook contact is best.

06.01.2022 A little milestone reached in my small business ... Since commencing as a full time funeral celebrant I have just taken my 500th booking from funeral directors. I have also officiated at countless memorials and of course wonderful weddings. Thankyou to everyone for your love, guidance and support. It is my privilege to do what I do and I am incredibly grateful to hear your stories and share your journey. From me to you, thanks. X

06.01.2022 This is Cameron and Alex on their beautiful wedding day in July. Can you see me? No, you cant. This was their moment, not mine. Although my ceremony makes a cameo appearance. Thankyou Naomi V Photography for the great images. It was a pleasure to work with you.

06.01.2022 Had the privilege today to lead a gathering in a Mother’s Day remembrance ceremony. Always a pleasure to work alongside the team at Heritage Park Crematorium. And even better that my children wanted to join in too. I’m a lucky mum and celebrant.

05.01.2022 A fabulous milestone in my business his afternoon. I have taken my 600th Funeral Service booking. I regard each and every booking as a beautiful opportunity to honour the person, in a way that is meaningful and honest for their family. I am a very proud celebrant this evening. Thank you everyone who has been on this journey with me. You help make me who I am, as do the families I serve.xx

05.01.2022 Just got this...happy celebrant..just sayin" Just a quick email to thank you for the wonderful service you conducted for dad. It was amazing and very moving and a beautiful tribute. Dad would have been (was) over the moon with it. You showed insight and understanding in your brilliant interpretations based on our discussions with you. We received many congratulations about the service and we acknowledge that this was in no small part due to your sensitive and authentic tr...anslation of the person dad was. We could not be happier or more grateful for your knowledge, expertise and genuine care for our family. We knew we were in good hands from the time we met with you and on behalf of the entire family, we thank you sincerely for making dad's farewell the wonderful celebration of his life that it was. A beautiful family, it was my pleasure to lead them through this ceremony. best job in the world?? YEP.

04.01.2022 ***Email received today**** On behalf of my uncle, Prince Charming, and our family I would like to thank you for the compassionate, respectful and caring manner in which you conducted the funeral service for Cinderella last Friday. I know, from nephew xxxx, that you were somewhat at a disadvantage when preparing for Cinderella's funeral as Prince Charming was not as forthcoming as we had thought he would be with stories or anecdotes about her to assist you in getting a feel... for her life. However despite this, you did an amazing job of making the service personal, memorable; and painting a rich picture of Cinderella for all those in attendance, so we thank you most sincerely for this. I did come back to the Chapel once I had settled Prince Charming in the Refreshment Room to thank you personally Suzie, however, you had gone and nephew xxxx told me afterwards that you had to race off to another commitment, hence my email to you today. Again, on behalf of Prince Charming and my brothers I thank you for the empathy you were able to bring to the service to celebrate Cinderellas life. With sincere thanks, ****names have been changed to protect privacy, however the sentiments remain the same.*** **I have chosen Prince Charming and Cinderella as the pseudonyms as this couple shared the most beautiful love story that spanned over 70 years*** I love my Celebrant role. It is a privilege I hold very dear.

04.01.2022 I had a very special experience yesterday. I led a family through a VIking Funeral ceremony and it was beautiful. Drayhorse Shires provided a horsedrawn funeral hearse. Beautiful Shire horses, impeccable glass enclosed hearse carriage, viking burial procession and prayer. Exactly how the beautiful lady we were honouring wanted her farewell to be. May she rest in peace in the gentle arms of mother nature and the spirits of her viking ancestors.
