21.01.2022 Back in May I posted some pictures of the refurbishment that I started on the deck of Aquila. With additional input from Ben and after other interruptions like ...rain and holidays the Sun has shone for a couple of days and we are now repainting the non-slip areas of the fore-deck. It will look like new again soon. En mayo publiqué algunas fotos de la renovación que comencé en la cubierta de Aquila. Con la aportación adicional de Ben y después de otras interrupciones como la lluvia y las vacaciones el Sol ha brillado durante un par de días y ahora estamos repintando las áreas antideslizantes de la cubierta de la cubierta. 19.01.2022 It's been a long slog with plenty of work being done since the world went nuts. A fellow marina neighbour managed to get a nice pic of Aquilla and her new next door neighbour in the pens.

16.01.2022 Perfect weather today! Stage one of Project Deck Paint is now complete, all new International Interdeck on all non-slip areas on the fore deck.

15.01.2022 Over the last 8 weeks S/V Aquilla has had the dubious pleasure of hosting a new family of gulls from birth. Today the chicks finally fledged and got themselves out of the dinghy, now the job begins to restore the dinghy back to its former glory

14.01.2022 Today's job, deck paint freshen up. We're having a slight rain delay however...

05.01.2022 Balmy summer days are officially gone.

04.01.2022 A few days of nice weather and the decks are looking a lot better. 3 coats of International Yacht Primer and 1 of International Pre-kote and Aquilla is ready for her new non-slip top coating.
