17.05.2022 Join us this Sunday at 9am when we continue our series "Gospel in Life". Vicki will bring a message from John 13:31-35 titled "Love isn't love until it is given away". We welcome everyone to come together in Worship of God through song, prayer and teaching, followed by a chance to catch up over morning tea. Families with children are very welcome at SVCC and Creche (babies & toddlers) and KidsZone (Prep to Year 6) are offered during the service. 25.04.2022 Honouring all women and asking God's blessing on them this Mothers' Day. Everyone is invited to join us at 9am tomorrow for our Worship Service when we will begin our new series "Gospel in Life". 19.01.2022 This year SVCC will be joining the Samford Community to collect items for a charity called ‘ Share the Dignity’ This organisation supports Adults, Teens or Mum & Bub’s living in crisis in remote aboriginal communities, safe houses and domestic violence shelters by providing specific essential items, and some luxury ones, in a new or preloves bag. The campaign is called ‘It’s in the Bag’ So each week, until Christmas Day, bring alone an item or 2 to add to the basket u...nder the Christmas Tree to help fill the bags for this campaign. We’ve posted a guide below with the list of the bad essentials you can bring each item must be new and in sealed packaging for health and safety reasons SVCC is the drop-off point for our community so share the news and spread the love this Christmas!

17.01.2022 Want to give back to your local community? How about just meet likeminded others in your local area? Why not volunteer and become a part of our Mainly Music team! Starting on Thursday the 15th of October, It's a fun morning that involves adult carers and their pre-school children coming along to enjoy a 30-minute music and movement session followed by a BYO morning tea, play and chat time. Registration commences at 9.15am and the morning wraps up around 11am. Volunteers will be involved in setting and packing, cleaning and registration. We also would love to find another person to help out within our music sessions and be available to run sessions on an ad hoc basis! If you're interested in becoming involved on Thursday mornings or just want some more information please contact Sonia Bain on Ph 0407 374 371.

11.01.2022 Kidszone news Kidszone will be starting back up this Sunday the 29th of November! We have missed you all and hope to see them this Sunday As you are all aware, we are still waiting for our carpets but have decided to start in the Shed until the end of the year. Next year we will be starting in our brand new Kidszone rooms! ... Children will need to be signed in before the 9 am service starts (at the Shed) and will be collected and signed out after the service. Hope to see you there Please make sure you register your children on the SVCC registration for the Sunday service.

10.01.2022 Church Update from Pastor Jim! We have some exciting news! The Qld Health Department is reducing the COVID restrictions for face to face church worship services. The SVCC COVID Safe task group is currently looking at the most suitable options for us as we head towards Christmas. At this stage: ... The seating will be rearranged to fit in more people. Extended family groups can sit together. Those who usually travel together can also sit together. Other people can sit closer together. People must remain seated at all times except for prayers. We can still sing whilst seated. Everyone still must wash hands, sign in, socially distance. Chairs etc still need to be cleaned afterwards. In addition everyone will be encouraged to wear face masks on entry and exit. We must continue to have a pre-booking system and a seating plan. The idea for these workshops has emerged from the recent ‘Everyday Joy’ preaching series on the letter of Philippians.
