10.01.2022 The first two days of the SB20 Australian Championships are done and dusted. Plenty of thrills and spills for Team SVC and a massive learning experience in some extremely testing conditions. Well done to all the boys and thank you to all the parents and support crew for your endless support. The boys have done very well for an amateur crew against the big boys and multiple major championship winners. Team Skipper Mat Cubit is absolutely stoked with the boys performances and... they all have big smiles on their faces.... even though they all unknowingly held their breath when flying downwind at speed! An opportunity like this for our boys is simply priceless. Enjoy the gallery. Full results and additional pictures and videos can be found at the SB20 Australia Facebook page. Good luck for Day 3 boys.

10.01.2022 Day 3 of the SB20 Australian Championships.....and FINALLY the youngest member of Team SVC, Grade 6 student Charlie Cubit gets a go!!! It’s been an excruciating wait for Charlie (aka...the coaches son) but the look on his face says it all. Good luck boys!

07.01.2022 Provisional results after six races and one discard in the Spring Bay Mill SB20 Australian Championship.

06.01.2022 Sailing is BACK! A great opportunity for our SVC boys.

05.01.2022 Good luck to Team SVC today in the Spring Bay Mill SB20 Australia Championships. The regatta started in hectic conditions yesterday with 19-22 knots of mostly consistent south easterly breeze causing a big swell on the bay. Following some minor rig damage yesterday and repairs overnight, Team SVC is all prepared and excited to tackle Day 2.

01.01.2022 Whilst there is a lot of doom and gloom at the moment around the world, here is some fantastic news before most sports were put into recess. Following on from the SB20 Nationals, the 2020 Sabot State Championships were held last weekend at Kingston Beach Sailing Club. SVC Students Oliver Whitton, Darcy Berry and Charlie Cubit competed in shifty wind conditions on Saturday with 5 races held and steady light breeze on Sunday 3 races held.... Results: Senior Division Oliver Whitton: State Sabot Champion for 2020 Oliver Whitton: Sabot Class Champion for 2020 Darcy Berry: 3rd Place Both boys sailed consistently on both days with positions changing regularly. Development Class Charlie Cubit: 2nd Place Charlie Cubit: First on Handicap This was Charlies first ever solo regatta and race situation which he handled exceptionally well as you can see by his result. Well done boys...and a fantastic way to wrap up the school sailing season as it turns out.
