24.01.2022 Isolation is Tough. There is no bones about it...If you are juggling working from home, home schooling some ratbags kids who are losing their minds it is even harder to stay productive. Once you watched every series on Netflix, bought a bunch of new workout equipment, packed in a handful of family activities, or read a few books, you might turn to things that are not in line with your health and fitness goals. Alcohol sales have increased +50% in the last week alone. It's har...d to not just sit around and act like every day is a holiday, the novelty may certainly be wearing off now. Which is why now more than ever a good routine is so important to avoid going down a not so good path. Here are my 5 tips for your New Routine: 1. Wake Up Early / Go to bed on a regular sleeping schedule, get a solid 6-8 hours of sleep, and wake up early. 2. Have a Plan: Before you go to bed each day note down what needs to be accomplished the next day and tick them off as you execute the following day. 3. Stay on top of your daily Exercise: Do not let your health and fitness fall off during this time. Swim, Bike, Run, Walk, Lift, Hike, Play with your kids, anything to keep you active. 4. Eat Healthy: Stay on top of your diet. Where possible Cook your own food. Find a new recipe book and have fun with your Cooking! 5. Stay Disciplined: Try your best to stay disciplined during this time. You will have moments where you fail, but get back up and keep at that routine you have created! @philrogersphoto
