15.01.2022 The recent high-profile renovation of the Gatwick building on the Nine Network’s television show The Block, has become a story of shame and superficiality when compared to the ABC’s revealing series about the building’s history. The series is unveiling endless candid and heart-felt stories of an extraordinary family who tirelessly embraced the disenfranchised and provided them with a place to call home. This is not to be missed!

05.01.2022 Current policy around homeless intervention is not working. This study highlights how the intersection between mental health issues and drug use are not easily fixed while people are suffering with unstable housing. Many are released by psychiatric hospitals without any access to housing perpetuating this cycle of homelessness and lack of treatment for the contributing factors. Supported housing while undergoing treatments and looking for permanent housing will allow people to maintain consistent medical routines.
