25.01.2022 Whilst at Swallows Nest visit the oldest church in Australia at Ebenezer. Explore the old buildings and wander through the gravestones of our earliest pioneers. Stop and have a Devonshire tea and scones and chat to the volunteers. All just 40 minutes from Swallows Nest.

04.01.2022 First callout for today. A Death Adder, we removed from a property at Wyong Creek. Death Adders camouflage themselves very well into their environment. They are... ambush predators and use their tail tip as a lure to attract prey. Be mindful when on properties in this area and around Woy Woy and Umina on the Central Coast, where they are most common, to always wear enclosed shoes, preferably boots. If you are gardening, always rake the area or leaf litter first and check for any movement, before sticking your hands into the unknown. Preferably, always wear thick gardening gloves. Death Adders have a lightning fast strike and are often mistaken for Blue Tongues. See more
