16.01.2022 Last week we had two mini visitors from Daylesford. Rosie and Lexi were here with their Mum and Nan during school holidays and were a little disappointed that they were just missing out on the Pyap’s first day back on the water. We managed to cheer them up by providing them with some local themed colouring sheets to do in their caravan that night. They returned them the next day and told us that their favorite boat was definitely the Pyap! We love helping to keep the kids entertained whilst your exploring our beautiful region so make sure you pop in and see us for some family fun ideas!!

16.01.2022 The Lake Boga Story Wall, located around the southern end of the lake was constructed in 2000, and is one of six national symbols of reconciliation in Australia. The artist and designer of the story wall, Zhou Xiaoping, was able to incorporate the essence of the region, the land, the water, the people, depicting their cultures, histories and ways of working, onto this stunning hand cut glass mosaic sculpture. Each image describes and depicts a part in the amazing history; agricultural past and present, European and Indigenous of the area.

15.01.2022 The Swan Hill Clock Tower was gifted to the people of Swan Hill in 1948 by the Elliott Provincial Newspaper Group under the chairmanship of Mr RD Elliott, a clock tower, he claimed, "represented a memento to the future rather than a memorial of the past".
