22.01.2022 FAQ - Are we racing on January 9th 2021? We will announce the much awaited answer to this question on Tuesday 22nd December following our clubs general meeting on Monday night. This was originally scheduled for last Wednesday, however due to some massive storms in the Swan Hill area we had to postpone a few days.... For those wishing to attend the general meeting, it will be held Monday 20th Dec, 7pm, at the track club rooms. Stay tuned!

19.01.2022 To our Members, Competitors, Spectators & Supporters; Unfortunately with COVID-19 still in charge across the state, and the government holding out on the easing of restrictions in regional areas, we have made the sad decision to delay the start of our season, with the cancellation of our first two race meetings. Fingers crossed things continue to improve across the state and we can get back to racing in Swan Hill early in the new year. We are at least now able to get back out... the track in limited numbers to complete some jobs around the place that were started last season. So rest assured, that when the time comes, we will be ready to go racing! In the meantime, the committee and I are looking into alternative ways of holding a fair and engaging AGM and details will be shared once we have this nailed down. 17.01.2022 With our season opener fast approaching we are excited to share more information about the Mick and Jo Glare Memorial Race. This year the Mick and Jo Glare Memorial race for Standard Saloons remains a round of the Standard Saloon Super Series. This series is held over 6 tracks and is hotly contested by the Standard Saloon drivers. The event is sponsored by Tin Hunters and Ruff Az Guts Racing. With a total prize pool of $3500, the winner will take home $1500!... Supporting Mick and Jo's race will be Sports Sedans, VSC Formula 500's, Goulburn Ovens Sedans and VSC Open Juniors, in what is looking to be fantastic showcase of Victorian and VSC Speedway racing! 14.01.2022 The Committee of the Swan Hill Motor Racing Club are very saddened to announce that our June long weekend meeting will be cancelled. The Super Rod State Title which was to be held at this meeting, is intended to be run early next season, with the support of the Victorian Speedway Council. This is following the announcement from our State Government today that no significant changes will be made to our current restrictions until the end of may, at least. This unfortunately bri...ngs an end to our 2019/2020 season, but rest assured we are continuing to make plans in the background for a fantastic 2020/21 season. We must thank all our members, volunteers, competitors, sponsors and race fans for your support through out this year. We are proud of what we achieved and like everyone, cant wait to get back to racing as soon as possible!

10.01.2022 Super Rod State Title - Take 2! After Covid-19 ended the speedway season early in 2020, we were unable to run the highly anticipated Super Rod title in June as planned. Following a generous offer from the VSC we were able to secure the chance to run the title in 2022 instead. ... The Super Rods annual feature at our 2 night June meeting is a highlight of our calendar every year and being able to add this blue ribbon event is something we’re all excited about!

04.01.2022 Race season is back in Victoria! The Swan Hill Motor Racing Club wishes the best of luck to our Wingless Sprint drivers who are competiting at Blue Ribbon Raceway next weekend. Hayden Glare, Lockhlan Glare and Michael Conlan are making their debuts in wingless sprints, while Esther Thomson and Thomas Button head into their second year in the class. ... Goodluck everyone!

02.01.2022 Mick & Jo Glare Memorial Race - 9th Jan 2021 Information as of 2pm 1st January 2021. ***We do not yet know how the changing restrictions in Victoria will effect this event. Any changes will be posted right here on this page***... Tickets sold at the gate - Cash Only. 1000 people maximum attendance, first in best dressed. We do not expect to have to turn anyone away, but we recommend crew and drivers arrive on time. We will be closing the gates once the limit is reached. Pits and Spectator areas can mix. Full contact tracing in place. We HAVE to know if you attended. QR code’s will be in programs and posted around the venue. YOU MUST CHECK IN YOURSELF AND ANYONE IN YOUR GROUP. Please be kind! Everyone you see working at the venue are volunteers. We are just enforcing the rules placed on us to be able to hold the event. Please follow these rules and respect any instructions given to you. Masks must be carried on you at all times. Any time you can not socially distance or are indoors, you must wear them. Camping will be allowed in the pits for drivers and crew. Please ensure you keep to your group and socially distance. Gates open 1pm Pits and Scrutineering close 6pm Drivers talk 6.30pm Racing 7pm.
