21.01.2022 Happy 125th Birthday to Midland! We’ll be down at the Midland Farmers Market tomorrow from 7am -1pm supporting local producers. Hope to see you there!

21.01.2022 We’re getting behind the Containers for Change scheme and we’ve got Don to thank. Dons put his hand up to collect and deposit all the cans and bottles the Club finds. Better yet each of these containers gives us 10 cents to go towards worth projects and to better support the community. For friendly competition, Don's got a leaderboard for who has donated the most... with Don the resounding leader with over 450 containers! If you’ve got any cans or bottles you’d like to donate to the Club we’d be more than happy to take them.

19.01.2022 Don't forget this Sunday 20th September 4pm, jump online for a cooking masterclass with Culleys Tearooms and learn their quiche recipe. 18.01.2022 This time last week we were out and about at Bunnings Midland for a sausage sizzle. We wanted to say thanks for the support and understanding in the new protocols for a snag. Here's a couple of happy snaps from last week!

17.01.2022 Working with other Rotary Clubs is fantastic and it’s no exception helping out our good friends over at Rotary of Elizabeth Quay. Tomorrow they are organising a food drive for Vinnies WA and needed some extra non perishables to pack Christmas hampers. What better person to ask than President Matthew who on behalf to Midland Supa IGA donated a trolley full of goodies. With Christmas just around the corner it’s a reminder to be generous to those in need and less fortunate than us.

17.01.2022 We wanted to say a huge thanks for your support in our first Midland Farmers Market!!! We're still working on making your local markets even better and hope to see you down at the Landgate/ City of Swan carparks this Sunday. Here's a couple of lovely snaps courtesy of Cr Rashelle Predovnik - Midland Guildford Ward - thanks for your support and taking the time to chat to us.

11.01.2022 Exciting announcement for the Club and the Midland community! The following Sunday 4th October our Club will be taking over and run the Midland Farmers Market. Big thanks to City of Swan for making it all happen to support our Club and the community. One big change is as of next week the Markets will be relocated in the City of Swan/Landagte carpark, Morrison Road. Keep an eye out for all the signs on the location and where to park.... We’re looking to bring all current stallholders across and introduce some new ones too but please be patient over the next month as we work through getting it right and ready for you all to enjoy!

10.01.2022 A joint Rotary WA effort. Rotarians from various Clubs have banded together to create a working group for the Bushfire Relief efforts. Please give the Page a Like! https://www.facebook.com/WARotaryBushfireRelief/

10.01.2022 Have you tuned into the latest episode of the Chats by Rotaract Australia podcast? For your Sunday evening viewing the most recent episode features our very own President Matthew who is on to discuss his Rotary to Rotaract journey. 08.01.2022 If you managed to tune into the Final Presidential Debate (and politics aside) you might've noticed what a fantastic job Kristen Welker did as the moderator. What you might not have realised was Kristen Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar! A alumna of one of many great programs run by Rotary, Kristen spent her final year at Harvard living aboard in Madrid Spain. She was sponsored Philadelphia Rotary and has helped her become a better journalist and land a job at NBC covering all news with the White House. Just another example of how Rotary Open Opportunities!!! https://youtu.be/RLHBhpoSwoI

08.01.2022 A momentous occasion for the prospective Swan Rotaract Club. Whilst the Club may be in its early days Tom and Rotaractors have been busy with many projects this past year. Last year they assisted us with our Harvey Norman VIP Night sausage sizzle and now that they have a bank account (many thanks to Don!) we are delighted to present a cheque for $250 We can’t wait to see the future of the Swan Rotaract Club and can’t wait to see them charter in the near future.

07.01.2022 Service Above Self.

06.01.2022 This evening our Guest Speaker was none other than Thomas from the prospective Swan Rotaract Club. An alumni of Rotary programs such as NYSF and RYLA, Tom gave a energetic speech on how Rotary has provided opportunities for himself and for other people that many Clubs around the globe sponsor. Very fitting with this years Rotary theme, Rotary Opens Opportunities. As the founding President of the Swan Rotaract Club he’s got a busy schedule ahead with chartering the Club in the near future so we wish him all the best.

It was a fun night and great to see Rotarians working Rotaractors together and also showing prospective members what Rotary is all about!
