10.01.2022 Dear patients, Good news! As you may already have seen in the media the restrictions placed on us by healthcare authorities have been partially relaxed and we are getting closer to returning to normal service. There are still some service restrictions in place what does this mean for our patients? First and foremost we must continue to be vigilant and maintain certain precautions to protect our patients, staff and their families we will continue to triage patients and mai...ntain the high level of infection control protocols that we have always done it should be reassuring to know that our dental practice is one of the safest places you could be. We are happy to resume much of the routine care we have done in the past, with some degree of modification or postponement required only for certain procedures your dentist will speak to you about this as it will be different depending on the individual needs of each patient. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to give us a call on 9384 9344 and we look forward to continuing to look after the dental health needs of our patients into the future. 09.01.2022 Did you know: gum disease has been linked to conditions including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic kidney disease, rheumatoid arthritis and Alzheimer's Disease. "Gums are not supposed to bleed without reason. If your gums bleed when you brush your teeth or when you bite on food - an apple, for example - you should visit your dentist for a periodontal check-up as soon as possible."

03.01.2022 Dear patients, We understand that this is a very concerning time for everyone, and at Swanbourne Dental Centre we have been closely monitoring the evolving situation with the COVID19 pandemic. Our priority is to maintain the health and well-being of our patients, staff and families. In line with restrictions mandated by health authorities, including advice from the Australian Dental Association, we are temporarily closing the practice to all routine, non-emergency dental care.... We are very mindful of the need to be available for our patients should any dental emergencies occur. We want you to know what we are doing at SDC to facilitate this: If you have a dental emergency please call the practice number 9384 9344, one of our dentists will get back to you as soon as possible. Please rest assured that our priority for looking after your health remains the same. We look forward to the return of normal life in the near future. Yours sincerely, Anusha, Sue, Lee, Colm, Bec and staff. See more
