17.01.2022 The verdict was Venice meets Side Show Alley. A group of Swannies joined the Sea Kayak club for a tour of the Mandurah Christmas Lights. They're up until Jan 5 if you feel like a paddle. Make sure you have a light for your kayak - and be prepared to dodge a flotilla of powerboats. If you'd like this to be a regular event on the SCC calendar, leave a comment.

15.01.2022 Registrations for the 2021 Ages National Championships 15 17th January, Goulburn River, Eildon The VSTC and Paddle Victoria are pleased to announce registrations for the 2021 Ages National Championships are now open via the go membership portal on the Paddle Australia website.... Camping at OEG There will be camping available at OEG for tents and caravans/campers. The OEG campsite is located next to the Eildon Riverside Holiday resort and provides direct river access for plenty of kayaking. The dining & kitchen block provides refrigeration and full cooking options inside with BBQs outside. A shower & toilet block is shared amongst campers. We will use OEG for the Vic BBQ Dinner on Saturday night, so access to the kitchen will be restricted on that night. Campervans and caravans can only set up in the paddock to prevent compacting of the tent area. Children 8y.o. or under do not attract a charge. Available from Tuesday 12 January 2021 to Sunday 17 January 2021. Bookings can be made on Trybooking using OEG Camping. Meet up with old friends and make some new ones as we enjoy a night off cooking in a covid safe environment. BBQ meat, choice of 3 salads, hot potatoes and bread rolls are on the menu. BYO drinks & there will be tables set up but please bring a chair with you to enable safe spacing. Adults $20 and Children 10 & under $10. 13.01.2022 You’re never too old to take up whitewater. The club’s annual Blackwood trip is held every November and is a great introduction to paddling on moving water.

11.01.2022 The full moon brought out the club crazies. Thanks Sue, Andy and the rest of the social committee for organising a fantastic Halloween paddle and party.
