24.01.2022 In case members have missed the emails, training for both Junior teams (both the Under 10s & 12s) this week will be after the Seniors Cup match at Grimrey Reserve on Wednesday the 25th April, instead of the normal Tuesday and Thursday training. Whilst the Seniors are to commence their Cup game at 1.00 pm, we would encourage the Juniors to come down to the ground at half time to support the Seniors in the second half of their game, enjoy a sausage sizzle before staying on for training and a game on the Seniors pitch afterwards at 3.30 pm.

23.01.2022 Well done to our Senior's in their Cup game on Wednesday and whilst they didnt win the game the game was closer than what the final score line showed. Unfortunately the team was down a player with an ankle injury within the first 15 minutes of the game, changing the dynamics on the pitch and made it just a little harder for the boys on the day. In the mean time, we extend our thoughts to Ryan, his family and his ankle. Wish him a speedy recovery and back out on the pitch to enjoy a bit of football.

21.01.2022 With the 2018 football season now under way, it is good to see our players back on the field and wish to extend a warm welcome to our new members. For our Junior players, I have been reminded by the Coaches that training is continuing during the school holidays and request that you come down to the ground, pick up some new skills and be ready for when the competition continues on the 29th of April. As for the Seniors, training is as usual on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings, with your next game this Sunday the 22nd April.

19.01.2022 SDSA is reminding players that there is training at Grimrey Reserve this evening between 5.30 and 7.00 pm. We would request that all players attend this training session and meet their coaches. If you have not registered yet and are between 8 and 12 years and interested in playing soccer this season, tonight is the deadline to register and I would suggest coming down for a run and to complete a registration. Please note, this age group is in the Mini Roos competition, with... their first game this Sunday, the 8th April. For those aged between 4 and 7 years, there is still a month to go before your season starts, though I do recommend that you also come to training and be ready for kick off in early May. 17.01.2022 Our minis first game went very well. Only 6 of them today but they all got in there, enjoyed themselves and played very well..so much cuteness in one team!!!!

SDSA is having its trophy presentation and wind up this Sunday at Grimrey Reserve, commencing at 9.30 am. All member's family and friends are welcome to and join in. There will be Bouncing Castles, an Animal Farm and maybe a impromptu game between the parents and our excellent Junior players.

08.01.2022 Swan District Soccer wishes to remind our families that our Minis (between 4 8 years) will commence training on Sunday the 6th of May, with their season commencing on the 13th May. If you are thinking of having your child play soccer, learn new skills and having fun at the same time; or have not yet registered for this season, we welcome you to come down to Grimrey Reserve this Sunday. Whilst the training will commence at 9.00 am, I would suggest the kids be there about 15 minutes earlier, so they are ready and we have time to get some paperwork out of the way. 04.01.2022 Well done to our Seniors, who convincingly won their game yesterday with a 6 0 victory over UWA-Nedlands FC. Whilst it was a team effort to assist the keeper in keeping a clean sheet, mention must also be given to Gabriel who scored a hat trick (3 goals), Matt assisting and scoring twice himself and Ben chipping in with a goal. Well done guys and hopefully you will keep the form going in the Cup game on Wednesday. I would encourage members to come down to Grimrey Reserve and support our Senior players, with kick off being at 1.00 pm.
