17.01.2022 Swan Districts has a very proud and proven track record in developing and preparing players to take the next step through both under age and senior programs. We want to make sure that we are offering the same development pathways for female coaches. There are currently 14 AFLW clubs and at the moment only one of these is coached by a female coach, the only way we can change this is to put resources into developing the next wave of female coaches.... If you are curious, looking to coach at the next level, wanting to continue to develop your skills, coming from another sport ect.... we would love to have you join our team. A lot of hard work has lead the 19 year old to become a full time midfielder in the Swans WAFLW League team and Jess has taken her game to a new level in 2020. 02.01.2022 I am incredibly proud to announce that I will be an ambassador for @cadburyaust for their Women in Sport Initiative - Get in the Game in Partnership with @aflwo...mens , Australian Women’s Cricket, NRLW, and Westfield Matildas. I was not allowed to play soccer at the club level as it was said that sports would distract me from school and culturally, it wasn’t appropriate for women to play soccer. But I continued to challenge the status quo, now I want to encourage the next generation to do the same.
