21.01.2022 A few pics from yesterday’s mowing job at Oxleys Hill Rd, Bowral. How often does your mowing contractor clean the underside of the mowing deck? A clean deck reduces the transportation of weed seeds from one site to another. With the hydraulic flip up finish deck on the Ventrac 4500, the cleaning process takes about 5 minutes and is done at each site before we leave to head to the next job. #swanes_horticulture #acreagelawnmowing #southernhighlandsturfcare #ventrac4500 #lawnstripes

With all the great rainfall, I have decided not to kill off the perennial rye grass and see how well it goes into the summer. 11.01.2022 When turf compaction caused by foot, vehicle and animal traffic, sporting events or other stresses, periodic aeration is necessary to keep the turf healthy.
