25.01.2022 Hey guys, The man is letting us train again. We are going to run Auskick and junior football training again. This will give our junior players the opportunity to stay active, see their friends and hopefully give Mum and Dad a break during the holidays. ... Training will commence on Wednesday 30th September. Auskick starts at 4pm Football training starts at 5pm COVID-19 protocols will be in place Everyone must bring their own water bottle

23.01.2022 Thomson Dow was named as the Bill Cosgrove/Harry Jenkins Best First Year player, after an impressive debut season at the Club. The 19-year-old taken with Richmond’s first pick (No.21 overall) at the 2019 NAB AFL Draft, forced his way into the side for two games this season and demonstrated a capacity to play a variety of midfield roles. - The Richmond Football Club on Thomson Dow.

22.01.2022 The Rolls Royce. Congratulations to Xavier Moloney on being named the CMFNL’s player of the decade. Affectionately known as the Rolls Royce, Xav has been an integral part of our senior side since coming to the club in 2010 and looks to have plenty more left in the tank. Well done Xy.

17.01.2022 It was great to see a large number of senior footballers hit the track last week and again last night. Training for those over the age of 18 is done under much stricter covid protocols but there has still been a great turn out. A number of familiar faces and excitingly a number of new faces were in attendance. 2021 looks like a season for everyone to get excited about!... Carl Hufer doing a bit behind the camera also.

16.01.2022 Congratulations to all of our players, both past and present, who featured in the CMFNL decade awards over the last couple of weeks. It’s great to see so many of our players being recognised for their contribution to both football and netball.

12.01.2022 Auskick and junior training will be swapped to Friday this week due to the weather forecast. Auskick starts at 4pm Football training starts at 5pm... COVID-19 protocols will be in place Everyone must bring their own water bottle Drop off and pick up is preferred

12.01.2022 Junior football training will commence next week if restrictions are eased again. Colts - Wednesday 24th at 5pm U/14.5 and U/12s - Thursday 25th at 5pm... Please make sure you bring your own water bottle.

09.01.2022 Congratulations to these superstars for being named in the A Grade Team of the Decade. We have been very fortunate to have such quality players representing our club over the last decade and hopefully for the next decade.

08.01.2022 COVID 19, the gift that keeps on giving. All training will be cancelled from Monday the 15th until Wednesday the 17th of February. Hopefully it will resume as usual on Thursday. The committee meeting will be pushed back to Wednesday the 24th of February.... I hope we are all enjoying our Valentines Day/Sunday and coping with the 5 day lockdown as best we can.

Make sure you have got the kids registered online to get the early bird price. Interleague Expression of Interest - If you are keen on taking on a coaching or selection role for junior netball please get in touch with Sheridan Harrop on 0422 261 383. Draw - Please find attached the 2021 draw. Round 1 is April 17th against Lake Boga. There is obviously going to be that hint of uncertainty that we have recently experienced. As a club we are being positive and are reviewing all of the return to play protocols for both netball and football, we can assure all members we will be ready to go with any protocols required of us once round 1 comes around. Rugby Jumpers - The order will be placed on Wednesday the 24th February so make sure you have purchased yours before then.

07.01.2022 Tonight is the final training session for the Auskick and Junior Footballers. It has been a terrific little block of training that has been very well attended and very popular with our junior players and Auskickers. Thank you to our Auskick and junior football coaches for giving up their time over the last few weeks. (Mick, Gez, Chopper, Cal, Dean and Dewi)... Thanks also to junior coordinators Brendan McIntyre and Gerard Kelly for getting the training off the ground again. Thank you to all the parents and players who have supported the sessions. We all cant wait to get back into it in 2021. This week’s training is once again under covid protocols: Own drink bottles Hand sanitiser Attendance taken Drop off and pick up preferred For the U12 and U14.5 players there will be an extra treat with complimentary pizza available for the players after training (served under hospitality covid protocols) Have a great week and as always stay safe, well and connected!

In further good news, Josh Richards and Tom Holdstock will be taking on the reserves coaching job for season 2021.
