20.01.2022 Dear Members & Athletes We welcome you to the 2019 WAKL - WA Open Tournament to be held at the ECU Gymnasium, Joondalup Campus, 270 Joondalup Drive, Joondalup ... 22 September 2019. REGISTER ONLINE : This year registering for the event can only be completed online. Once you register for this WAKL event you will be able to register this way every time without having to fill out your personal details each time. Some clubs will supply its members with the username and password so you can all log in and register as one club. The other option is that one person from your organisation can register everyone from your club. If you have issues with online registration please contact Christine Smith at [email protected]. The competition will commence at 9.00am and we offer FREE entry to all spectators to this event. NOTE:- If you are available to support the tournament as a Referee, Marshall, Table Official, to set up or in any other capacity please let us know by return email, your support would be appreciated. Clarification of 8-Year-Old Categories 8-year-olds can enter into the relevant Development division contesting under normal tournament rules OR alternatively can enter into the 8yr & under division, but not both. All competitors in the 8yrs & under participation division will all receive a medal. Participants in the 8yrs & under Kumite division will not require helmet/ face mask or shin instep guards, techniques to the head by hand or foot are not permitted.
