13.01.2022 This is a friendly reminder that the Swan Hill Theatre Group AGM is happening tonight (21st October) at 7:30pm. The AGM is being held at the Memorial Theatre on McCrae Street with COVID safety precautions in place! If you are a shareholder, you are welcome to attend!

13.01.2022 Dogmilk Films are Looking for people to submit footage to use in their film ‘Speed and Movement’ to cut into a montage. The montage will be a surreal sequence that frames the highway as a transitional space between City and Rural. A kind of purgatory where bizarre things happen and the car is the personified vessel that travels through it, mimicking human actions. Style and content of images they are looking for: - Shot on low res cameras like: Dashcams, GoPros, iPhone,... Handycams, Super 8 and 16mm - Shots of highways, long stretches of rural roads, pubs, mechanics - Weird, strange and bizarre happenings on the highway or around local rural pubs/shops caught accidentally or purposefully on camera - Drone footage of these kinds of locations (vast plains, paddocks, highways etc.) - Footage inside cars. There are 3 available roles: Kelly: Local Mechanic, Female, 30-60 years old Ray: Truck Driver, Male, 40-60 years old Carl: Businessman from the city, Male, 30-60 years old... Synopsis: Something’s awry along the Victorian highways, the downtrodden are making plans with extreme ideologies. Ray, a truckie, tells Kelly, local mechanic, about his hardships with work, she offers him a way to seek revenge. A businessman from the city’s car breaks down, Kelly has malicious intentions.
