20.01.2022 Currently there are lots of bans in place that will effect the best planned travel arrangements. For example, a ban on travelling to Lord Howe Island was in place until 19 June. That ban has now been extended until 2 August. Changes such as these are likely become a regular occurrence the world over until this scourge called COVID-19 is eradicated. So if your plans don't immediately fall into place, chins up! We all just need to pursue our positive thoughts and look forward... to the future. And "W.A.I.T. T. ... because We're All In This Together". A regular leisure activity that is now open to us all is gathering with friends at a favourite coffee shop. 18.01.2022 So, from 1st June the restrictions for New South Wales residents to travel within NSW will be lifted and that’s great news. We just need to W.A.I.T.T. for the rest of Australia - and the world - will open up, and that's when we can all travel again, because "We're All In This Together". When Australia does open up our marvellous country has a lot to offer! Beautiful scenery - amazing animals - plenty of exciting activities. 11.01.2022 Enthusiasm is growing for the proposed Australia-New Zealand "travel bubble" to enable travel between the two countries. A statement released by Air New Zealand said, in part, that together with airports, tourism bodies and government representatives, safe border recommendations are being developed to be proposed to New Zealand and Australian government agencies for their consideration". 08.01.2022 Journey Beyond, operators of The Ghan and the Indian-Pacific, will very shortly launch a ‘limited release’ of their 2021 ‘Rail Expedition’ journeys for the period between April and November, 2021. 06.01.2022 US Federal authorities have arrested a group of M&M’s after a 14 hour flight from Sydney to LA. The serious offences that they were charged with included Social Distancing. The Red M&M, spokesperson for the group, pleaded the group’s innocence: We knew that we should have W.A.I.T.T.ed . because We’re All In This Together. At least one M&M the Yellow had anticipated a pleasant flight. This should be a snack he was reported as saying as they boarded the aircraft in Sydney, however his colleagues declined to support those comments.

03.01.2022 Did you know that, since 2007, Sue and Chris have personally escorted all of our group tours? The wonderful destinations that we have visited over that period have included the UK, Ireland and much of Europe; lots of European river cruising; Scandinavia and the Baltic; Iceland; the USA and Canada (including the magnificent eastern areas of those countries); Hawaii; Dubai; and - leaving the best until last - our the destination that we absolutely love to show to our fellow tra...vellers, Canada/Alaska! The current situation dictates a change of plans for the tours that we had organised for 2020. Our 22 day Mediterranean Cruise Adventure, which was to depart on 25th August, will now depart on 27th April, 2021. Likewise, our 15 day Hawaiian Escape - another one that was filling fast before the virus - was to depart on 7th October but has now been re-scheduled for March next year.
