23.01.2022 Just a classic day at work! Young Gupta first came to see us when he got in to a tussle with a dog, then returned a week later for sterilisation. We were so happy to see this charming boy again! Who's a handsome goat? GUPTA!

23.01.2022 We cant always predict when our pets will become unwell, so when young Violet developed some unwelcome symptoms we did our best to fit her in between consultations. While her family were waiting patiently, they decided to do some colouring in for Dr Meg! Meg was thrilled to bits to receive something so thoughtful! We always, always appreciate your patience if there are ever any delays in us seeing your pet

Chocolate toxicity can require hospitalisation....and it's not just the chocolate you need to worry about. Foil wrapper and lolly packets can cause an obstruction if your pet ingests them. So, have fun tonight if you're out trick or treating, but make sure the only treats your pets have access to are designed just for them

15.01.2022 Introducing our new Lead Nurse! You probably already know her lovely face, and now its time to congratulate her for her promotion! Cindy has been part of the Swan Valley Vet Centre team since completing her work place learning with us several years ago. Once upon a time she studied Egyptology in Sydney, and now shes enjoying a rewarding, animal centred career as a veterinary nurse with a special interest in our smallest furry friends - rabbits! She has two rescue bunnie...s at home. Animal adoption and rescue are causes close to Cindys heart, and we are so proud to have her take up the position of Lead Nurse for our wonderful, dedicated and highly skilled nursing team.

13.01.2022 Dr Rose really is wonderful with all creatures, great and small! This little guy was brought in on Friday following an accident with a vehicle. He sufferered various cuts and injuries all over his scaly body, and spent the day in hospital under the watchful eye of Dr Rose and the nursing team. Unlike most hospital patients, who enjoy the creature comforts of a padded bed in their hospital cage, this guy much preferred to spend his time clinging to the cage door! It's that ti...me of year again when our reptilian friends like to make an appearance. Stay alert for them as they tend to take their time crossing roads and footpaths
